Halfway through the movie, I feel that this movie will probably explode in China. Due to the overseas copyrights purchased by Netflix, this seemingly only film that will be released in North America has a good reputation, but the box office is mediocre. Of course, there is also the black panther produced by Marvel at the same time. It is understandable that people who have been brainwashed by Marvel have basically lost their interest in more serious sci-fi, or they also know other movies except avengers. What? Closer to home, I personally feel that this is a new generation of sci-fi masterpieces that cut off ten minutes from the end. Alongside 2001 Space Odyssey, Blade Runner and other masterpieces of their era, it will become a required lesson for sci-fi fans. Of course, even with this ending, it still makes it a masterpiece. But it is different from other sci-fi works. The most amazing part is not how thought-provoking its sci-fi concept is, but the expression of the movie, the mystery, fear, trembling, nervousness experienced when watching the movie, intentional through the pictures and music organization communicated to the audience. The plot may be able to be told, but this movie cannot. If you don't watch it, you won't be able to see the expression it makes, and you won't be able to experience how awesome it is. I really like the graphics and music in it. The various scenes in it reminded me of The Last of US, the abandoned city under the rising sun, intertwined with the shadows of the dark and dirty and the huge mold growing, which was a big reason why I was addicted to that game at that time. The movie seems to bring it into reality, but goes a step further! The plot makes everything shrouded in a strong sense of mystery, and it can't be more perfect. It's been a few days since I watched the movie, but looking back on this perfect setting still makes my back go numb with excitement. Music, music is a genre that I haven't heard at all, and probably never, or at most, a very small group of people have tried in movies. It was like some kind of rhythmic noise, and like a mechanical moan. But this music took the movie to a new level. Without this music, it could be a sci-fi work, or even a comedy, and with this music, he is a sci-fi masterpiece.
