The film has a documentary feel, with a retro soundtrack and shaky handheld footage, which is very vintage.
In the movie, Tom's previous style has been weakened a lot. Instead, there are some comedy elements, and many scenes are particularly funny. This time, in this film, Tom is playing the real Barry Hill in history, who is a legend in his own right.
Barry Hill, a Barry TWA pilot, joined the intelligence agency while smuggling drugs, guns, and illicit transactions for the anti-government and making a lot of money.
It was effortless for Tom to play him, and it was also because of his excellent performance that the whole film was extremely smooth and hearty. In the last half hour of the film, Barry is in trouble. He is betrayed by the U.S. government, which he is loyal to. One day, the drug lord's boss found him and brutally killed him.
In fact, this ending is pitiful, but it is also caused by Barry's greed. If he can quit after making some money, it may not be his own tragedy. So, be a human being, don't be too greedy. Everything is in moderation.
