There are two huge questions in the movie: 1. According to the explanation given in the movie, the Soviet nine-member mountaineering group was killed by two modern shapeshifters who traveled through time and space. However, at the end of the movie, when the mutant students traveled back to the Soviet era, the nine-member mountaineering group had all died. Based on a real historical event, the film attempts to give a self-justifying explanation to this event in the form of a cinematic documentary. Apparently, its ending was not handled well. 2 Why did the two shapeshifters kill "themselves"? If they turn into bloodthirsty animals after passing through the time-space tunnel, then they don't need to drive "self" into the cave, just eat it directly. If they remained human, the tragedy would not have happened, and the film would not stand.
