You have to watch a good movie twice

I am blind and have a natural obstacle to watching foreign movies.

The first time I watched "Border Killer", I only recognized four people: Emily Blunt, De Toro, the black policeman and the CIA.

Emily was so conspicuous in "Edge of Tomorrow" that Tang Ge was reduced to a supporting role. De Toro is because of "21 Grams", "God even knows the movement of each strand of your hair", he seems to come directly from the studio of Inaritu. The black people and the big guys are purely identified in the movie.

The first time I watched "Border Killer", I was confused by the language of the famous names of places and celebrities, the plot was not straightened out, and the movie was over.

This is the second time after two months.

"Border Killer" is the first movie I watched twice in the past six months.

This is enlightening: I always think that my fan career started with the courage to watch "Sister Hannah" a second time.

When I watched "Sisters Hannah" for the first time, I was a little idiot who watched whatever it was hot. At that time, I felt that "Sisters of Hannah" was really dull and long, but there was "comedy" in the movie category, which was really unreasonable.

After a long time, I suddenly realized that these movies are so awesome in the eyes of big directors, but I don't have much fun. Whose problem is it?

...

Then I opened "Sisters Hannah" again and watched it hard! (At that time, Station B was still full of Woody Allen movies.)

After reading this time, the impression is completely different: it seems that a new world has been discovered. In the following years, I watched this movie many times, and it became more joyful over and over again.

In this period of being a fan of the first time, "Pulp Fiction", "The Godfather", "Four Hundred Strikes", "Annie Hall" and so on have been read twice before I like it. Only then did I realize that for the first time I felt bored because of my low aesthetics!

Perhaps there is also a factor of blindness.

Watching "Border Killer", there is really more obstacle to face blindness than aesthetic obstacle. I say this because, although I was completely puzzled after watching it for the first time, I didn't immediately conclude that the film was boring and long. The director was a idiot. (I felt this way when I watched "Arrival") I just made up my mind and watched it twice, three times, four times and five times, until I had all the information in this film before drawing any conclusions.

After reading it for the second time, I immediately felt that the story was very exciting. But I still don't have that strong feeling about the photographic soundtrack that everyone is talking about. However, what I said earlier: I feel that others are not good enough. First of all, I feel that I have a low aesthetics. This is the best attitude for my growth.

Maybe I went to learn a photographic soundtrack, and watched "Border Killer" for the third time, and I could feel that kind of awesome temperament. At that time, in my mind, Vishen really became Vishen.

Sicario quotes

  • Phil Coopers: [assuring Kate] Advisors like Matt come in, they stir the pot, they cause the criminals to react and make mistakes. That's how we build cases against the individuals that actually make a difference in this fight. It's when they're nervous, when they stop trusting their crews, when they move their money. These are all opportunities to strike. And that's the purpose of people like Matt.

Dave Jennings: Kate, this isn't something that I dreamed up myself. I don't have the authority to hire advisors, or authorize joint agency missions, or fly agents from Air Force bases. Are you understanding me? These decisions are made far from here, by officials elected to office, not appointed to them. So, if your fear is operating out of bounds, I am telling you, you are not. The boundary's been moved.

  • Reggie Wayne: [sitting in a bar] Look at you. Your eyebrows are a mess.

Kate Macer: [hiding her face] No, they're not!

Reggie Wayne: They're like caterpillars, like wild beasts. You're losing weight.

    Kate Macer: I'm eating.

Reggie Wayne: Look at you. What is it, one T-shirt a week? At least work on your personal hygiene, huh?

Kate Macer: You sound like my mother.

Reggie Wayne: Maybe I *am* your mother. First we work on personal hygiene, then we move on to the shopping.
