When robots have human emotions

The first time I saw this film, I cried a roll of paper. I couldn't tell who was crying for, David or Teddy Bear. The sad atmosphere will never be forgotten for a long time. I watched it again recently, and the feeling is different from the first time. In Buddhism, it is said that the body is just a machine of the body, and the soul is the controller. Will those robots have souls when they see them being destroyed by humans? In fact, if David was just an ordinary robot, it might not be so sad and painful. I don't even know what I said. This movie is so depressing. David's obsession is too deep. So much so that when his wish came true, he also lost the strength to live. Hope he turns into a real little boy or a real soulless normal robot in another world

I think this is Spielberg's best work. The care for humanity, Judy Law’s handsome look, and the perfect detailing are all different from Spielberg’s other science fiction films. They represent children, the unknown David, and the representative love of Judy. Lao, the two of them went to find the answer together, which in itself is full of metaphors.

Monica: I mean, inside he's like all the rest, isn't he?

Henry Swinton: A hundred miles of fiber, yeah.
