The horror of the first alien is that humans know nothing about aliens, the second is the huge scale of aliens, the third is that there are no weapons to fight aliens, and the fourth is aliens evolved. The aliens that were isolated and cultivated were subjected to various domestication treatments in the laboratory. In order to be able to go out, the three aliens could think of killing each other, using the strong corrosiveness of blood to make Ji escape the laboratory and wantonly revenge on humans.
Ripley No. 8 is a successful product made by experimental products. The previous No. 1-7 have become half-human and half-alien monsters, enduring torture and pain, and are used to cultivate more alien queens. The alien queen hatched from Ripley's body no longer needs a host to lay eggs, but directly has the function of human uterus reproduction, giving birth to an alien baby. I thought that the alien baby would kill humans like other aliens and fear the alien queen, but I didn't expect the alien baby to kill the alien queen, treat Ripley as a mother, and obey Ripley like a child.
The fourth film weakened the image of Ripley's heroine, and did not show a lot of fighting with aliens, but softened her emotions as a mother and human beings. When destroying the alien baby, the alien baby looked at Ripley, showing a look of hurt and sadness, and endowed with human emotions, which were not found in the previous three films.
It is precisely because the film has more emotional descriptions that it does not seem so refreshing, and even a little depressing. If it is a plot of fighting blood, then this film may be disappointing.
