The man suddenly put down the gun, and the deer ran away. The girl looks back.
3. A slender black snake crossed the grass, through the broken glass window, across the flat white sheets, and wrapped around an old wrinkled neck.
4. Thelma and Anna slept in the same bed for the night. The next day, Thelma found a long hair of Anna. She picked it up lightly, and put it back lightly.
5. The performance begins, and the mime performers on the stage threw themselves into the performance. Anna quietly held Thelma's hand, and Thelma smiled politely.
As the mime continued, Thelma suddenly began to breathe short, and she looked at Anna uneasily.
Anna lightly touched the outside of Thelma's exposed thigh with the back of her hand. Thelma's right hand suddenly trembled, and she quickly clamped her right hand, trying to calm herself.
