"Love has an afterlife", a legend about the afterlife was confirmed by science, and then a large number of people who hated this life committed suicide to welcome the afterlife. The sci-fi film with the concept of parallel universe is a bit similar to the literary soft sci-fi of "The Night of the Comet". It's not necessarily only love that is lost at that time. It's a pretty good movie, but the trivial procrastination of the narrative reduces the fun of watching the movie, and the director's control in the later stage is somewhat loose.
