If it were placed in the past, this must be a very popular movie. As a treasure hunting movie, it is very interesting, but what makes me unexpected is that there is a mysterious organization called "Freemasonry". I originally thought that Freemasonry was just a legend. , I didn’t expect...
There are too many incredible places in it, and the clues left by those monuments can be preserved. I don’t mean the Declaration of Independence, but the bells, walls, churches, etc. If there is a fault in the middle ring, then It's not fun anymore, and the protagonist's amazing wisdom, not to give you time to think slowly, but to come up with answers to questions in a very short period of time.
Finally, I want to complain. The villain's IQ is really unlimited. I also look forward to a return carbine at the end.

The pace is very fast, and the treasure decryption is a bit too easy. The visibility of the escape is much greater than the visibility of the treasure hunt.

National Treasure quotes

  • Riley Poole: [leaving Abigail's office after unsuccessfully trying to convince her about potential theft the Declaration of Independence] If it's any consolation, you had me convinced.

    Ben Gates: It's not.

Riley Poole: I was thinking, what if we go public, plaster the story all over the internet? It's not like we have our reputations to worry about. Although, I don't think that's exactly gonna scare Ian away.

Ben Gates: [standing in front of the Declaration of Independence] 180 years of searching, and I'm three feet away. Of all the words written here about freedom, there's a line here that's at the heart of all the others. "But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and provide new Guards for their future security."

    [pause]

Ben Gates: People don't talk that way anymore.

Riley Poole: Beautiful, huh? I have no idea what you said.

Ben Gates: It means if there's something something wrong, those who have the ability to take action have the responsibility to take action.

    [pause]

Ben Gates: I'm gonna steal it.

    Riley Poole: [laughs] What?

Ben Gates: I'm gonna steal the Declaration of Independence.

    [walks away]

Riley Poole: [laughs, then follows Ben] Uh, Ben?

  • [first lines]

    Young Ben Gates: Grandpa!

John Adams Gates: You're not supposed to be up here, looking at that.
