If alien life exists, when will we meet?

I just started reading "The Three-Body Problem" recently, and I feel that the cosmic complex deep in my heart has rekindled.

Then I brushed the BBC's "Wonders of the universe", almost every episode has a point of view that makes people feel refreshing.

Driving on the way to work in the morning, I looked up and saw the white and transparent moon, the dazzling but not scorching winter day, a flock of birds flying past the building, and then looked down at the steering wheel clenched in my hand. Can not help but sigh the miracle of the universe and life.

We come from the depths of the universe, and all the elements in the earth originated from that big bang that opened up the world.

The solar system may have originated from a nebula after a supernova explosion, which slowly formed the sun and its planets through the action of gravity.

Of the 52 elements of the periodic table, the heavier the metal, the more massive the collapse of the star is needed to form.

This requires that the formation of life must have the collapse and explosion of super-large stars, which is also very rare in the universe.

Maybe, in the big universe, only the earth has this luck, and it has grown into what it is now.

The starry sky we see every night comes from the light emitted by those stars billions of light years ago.

And on those stars, you can only see what the earth looked like hundreds of millions of years ago, maybe it's just barren.

Because of this, even if there are other life forms in the universe, it is difficult for us to find each other.

If you are here, how many stories have happened with you in these billions of years?

Unless we exceed the speed of light, we can't understand each other, right?

If we gain insight into the secrets in black holes and know the mysteries of the world that even light cannot escape, will we be able to travel through ancient and modern times and meet each other?

If so, then there should be no life in the universe that has mastered the mysteries other than light, otherwise they have come to us.

What a beautiful and bleak story it would be if there was only intelligent life on Earth in the universe.

I love the universe as much as I love my life.

The most perfect, the most grand scene, the most beautifully produced, the most adorable host, and the most in-depth popular science film about cosmology and physics I have seen so far. Although it is mentioned that most of the relevant theories and knowledge have been obtained more or less from other channels, the mysteries of the universe displayed by the intuitive images are still amazing and sighing.
