A delicious dish is definitely not the delicacies of mountains and seas. Just like a classic secret agent movie, if you still rely on beautiful cars and bombs to attract people's attention, it will definitely lose its original taste. I didn't watch the previous "Bourne Bourne", I somehow wanted to watch such a special agent movie, but I wasn't very interested in "007", so I watched this movie casually.
To be honest, the beginning is not very good, the constantly shaking shots, different shooting scenes, Jason seems to be recalling what he did when he was young. He must have lost his memory, and the picture shakes like the constantly shaking footage in a news report. The hand-to-hand combat in a series of dark scenes is not my favorite shot at all.
Such an abandoned product that seems to be abandoned by someone, how to break through the deadlock, find its own position, and win a normal life seems to be far away.
But the whole show is tight-paced. The background was explained from the beginning. After the Snowden incident, the government did not give up monitoring people. Monitoring individuals for the so-called national security without regard to personal privacy seems to be another aspect of how powerful the enemy Jason is facing. Can a fugitive former agent with amnesia find out the real cause of his father's death and live a normal life?
Jason's old partner Nicky wants to help him get back his memories and live a normal life. She hacked into the backstage of the CIA and stole all the events they participated in that year, as well as the recent plans that the government has not implemented. She knew the real reason for Jason's father's death and the fact that Jason was being used by the government. The government does not take into account the emotions and feelings of individuals, and just for the so-called national security, it removes anyone who is harmful to them, even if those people have not done dangerous things.
The CIA turned Jason into a murder tool, and his father didn't want him to be turned into a murder tool and was killed by the organization. Jason's amnesia identity setting from the beginning, his goal is to find. Looking for his own life experience, looking for some of his own memories, looking for the real reason for his father's death, and finally completing his personal redemption.
This process is not only a struggle against the center of power, but also a return to the real and ordinary in personal morality, which is more in line with the real human nature. At the beginning of the movie, when he recalled the process of killing himself, it seemed that he was not feeling well, and he seemed to be running away - fighting with other people's bare hands to numb himself. Either fighting in the wild, or fighting in the underground, the turbid air, the mixed crowd, shouting gambling chips in their mouths. The scenes in the movie are in line with the psychology of the characters, so I want to hide them, bury them in the ground, and mingle with the crowd.
His life was murky until Nikki found him. The hand-held shaking photography adopted by the director, the shaking of memories is similar to the documentary news shooting, giving the audience a sense of immersion with the protagonist.
During the chase, Nikki was shot to save Jason. It inspired Jason's heart of revenge. The original doubts in his heart have not been answered and new revenge has been added. If he still runs away blindly, he has escaped from the basic principles of being a person. He began to investigate according to the people involved in the "stumbling block plan" at that time, of course, without the assistance of CIA interim commander Heather.
Heather is an ambitious woman. Although she is young, she has no stage fright in the layout command. At first glance, she is a very mature veteran. Borrowing Jason's hand, he got rid of his boss, and let himself rise to the fore. But compared to the battle-hardened Jason, it is still a little immature. But it is undeniable that her frankness and calmness, her control and adaptability to the whole situation, as well as the wonderful dialogue and the shot at critical moments saved Jason and fulfilled herself. The whole movie looks very powerful and very cool.
Jason smashed the CIA's plan, and after Snowden, people were more concerned about their privacy. Jason represents the most basic reason for the most ordinary people to resist because they don't want to be controlled. I was puzzled at first, why does the government want to know what everyone eats and drinks? Kill the danger in the cradle and control all mankind. Husband interjected. Cut, how tiring. But some people think so.
This is the most important thing that attracted me to this movie. The CIA stands for a ubiquitous symbol of collective power, and Jason, a former agent with amnesia, is an extreme contrast. Starting from his vision to examine this matter, after awakening, he began to complete his own personal redemption. This whole process is the most attractive.
Things that are fine from a national point of view may not necessarily meet your own judgment standards from a personal point of view. If you don't think and just do what you're told, it's a killing machine. Only when the person you love the most and the person closest to you falls in front of you, can you be enlightened and awakened. Only in this way can the audience see Jason's own awakening and fight back in the movie, so that they can think and make their own decisions.
Therefore, this film is considered a successful special agent film. In a sense, it can cause us to think about ourselves. When we face difficulties, even if our opponent is a powerful representative state agency, we cannot give up our own confrontation. In this way, it is not in vain!
PS: A little digression, I don't know if it is accurate or not.
Of course, this movie also mentions a fact, borrowing power. Jason and Heather leverage each other for the common good, just to achieve their own goals, even though they only use each other. At certain moments, it is possible to use leverage without violating your own principles. A probe designed by aerospace engineers to visit the faraway planet Saturn appears to be on a detour. Instead of flying in a straight line, it chooses a zigzag distance that actually requires far less fuel than flying straight. It used the gravity and motion of the three planets along the way to get close to Saturn and achieve its goal. This is what this movie inspired me.
