I haven't read the original book, I'm watching the new oringins recently, I just want to discuss the final ending. In fact, when the Pope's Chamberlain decided to take the bomb on the plane, he did not expect that he would parachute, thinking that he planned to sacrifice himself to save the Vatican. Without knowing the inside story, that moment actually attracted me. Wearing a priest's black robe, with a firm look in his eyes, he took Standard Chartered and headed straight for the plane. The film captures that moment very movingly, and the shots are beautiful. Of course, it has to be reversed in the end. I thought that as a movie, it might be better not to reverse.
