Sorry, this is a bad review. It can be said that "Kingsman 2" is a sequel that is far below my expectations.
Before complaining, take the screenwriter's head and sacrifice to the sky:
Below is the text:
Force-feeding shit is my biggest feeling after watching Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle.
The term "feeding shit" first appeared in the second dimension.
In a narrow sense, it refers to those works with good plots in the front, but illogical plots suddenly appear in the back, such as the extermination of the protagonist, the random matching of CPs, forced whitewashing, etc., which makes the audience seem to be caught off guard by the screenwriter.
In a broad sense, the finished film is lower than expected, and the works that make people feel as uncomfortable as eating shit are counted.
For "Kingsman 2", no matter from which perspective, it is force-feeding shit. Especially compared to Zhuyu in "The Secret Service", there are endless bugs in the plot of "The Golden Circle", which makes people wonder if the screenwriter's brain was also blown up at the end of the previous film.
(The following opens the Tucao mode, there are spoilers)
Originally, "Ace Secret Service: The Secret Service" was a British-style secret agent film. I don't know why the sequel had to incorporate the United States (probably the capital factor), destroying the core features of the film. And in order to add American elements, the film's plot can be said to be rigid and illogical.
Bear the brunt of the slot is the messy bento.
Roxie is the heroine in the first part. She entered the Secret Service Academy at the same time as the male protagonist Eggsy, received training at the same time, and grew up during the mission. In the sequel group CP, at least keep a certain amount of scenes.
As a result, the screenwriter forced a wave of annihilation in order to lead out the line of the United States, so that she died so vaguely. Although according to the logic of the film's random fabrication, the possibility of Roxie's resurrection in the third film cannot be ruled out, but I still ask the screenwriters not to use one bad meme twice.
In addition to Roxie, Merlin's sacrifice in the back is also unclear. Even if three seasoned agents with mine-clearing equipment stepped on a mine, the role of the mine-clearing equipment was only to replace the victim, which was completely useless.
According to the tone of this series of films, the director and screenwriter may want to add funny elements on the one hand, and on the other hand, they want to create a tragic and sensational atmosphere through the sacrifice of positive characters, but the final effect is that the film is neither funny nor tragic.
Especially compared to another special agent comedy "Ace Powers: Greensby" played by Merlin, the simple shit and fart can make the audience laugh back and forth. And "Ace Agent 2" put the laughs and tears together, it will only make people feel very precise.
Secondly, the film's portrayal of the villain is also much worse than the previous one.
When I saw Julianne Moore's drug lord open with an extremely detailed self-introduction, I realized that the writers were joking when they created the character.
Her behavior was illogical: trying to threaten the US president, but getting into trouble with British agents. The annual revenue is hundreds of billions of dollars, but it employs less than 20 bodyguards. It is estimated that the money is spent on the drone delivery business.
She thought that the robot maid under her command would be as powerful as the first "Blade Girl", but she was instantly killed in an instant; the combat power of the two robot dogs also fluctuated. The one-armed man Charlie's combat power setting is also very confusing, and the mechanical arm repeatedly beats the male protagonist like tickling.
Julianne Moore is also inexplicable as the villain. I suspect that the screenwriter can't make it up and just wrote the character to death.
Finally, the three views of "Ace Agent 2" are also very touching.
To put it simply, the big drug lord played by Julianne Moore controlled the global drug supply, and then she added a poison to the drug, so thousands of addicts around the world were poisoned, and the solution was not used within a time limit. The medicine will die, and the antidote is only available to the big drug lord.
So the big drug lords used these addicts as hostages to force the President of the United States to legalize the drug trade. And the idea of the President of the United States is: if a group of addicts die, the world will be clean, and if we eliminate the big drug lords along the way, the war on drugs will be won during my term.
Is there anything like the Philippine President Duterte, who has an iron fist against drugs? Of course he got hacked badly in America.
At this time, the female officials around the president objected: after all, it was millions of lives.
The president and military officers scoffed at her Virgin Heart, and a few days later found that the female official also showed signs of poisoning, it turned out that she was also a drug addict. The female official then said to the president: I work for you 24 hours a day, how can you keep going without taking drugs?
When you see the sea here, you are speechless. Is this why you take drugs? Of course the president's reaction was the same as mine: oh, I just feel sick.
But in the end, the ace agents brought down the big drug lord, and the antidote was delivered to every drug addict (including the Swedish princess who was close to the male protagonist, a proper royal scandal). The female drug addict was also rescued, and then turned into the incarnation of justice, and sent the president to prison in a grand manner.
After watching a lot of Hollywood movies, I feel that drug use has become a "pop culture" in European and American countries. It is understandable to intersperse drug addiction in ordinary gangster films and comedies, such as the cute and cheap big smoking gun teddy bear. However, being able to portray addicts as victims and anti-drug people as clowns has really made me re-understand the bottom line of mainstream movies in Europe and America.
I sincerely hope that Hollywood will make more films like this, so that young people in Europe and America feel that drug use is not very harmful, and quitting drugs is just like playing a game.
Of course, this dog-tailed sequel is not without its bright spots, and the whiskey played by Pedro Pascal is outstanding.
In the scene of the fight in the tavern, it can be seen that the screenwriter still worked hard. Instead of letting "Uncle Face" repeat the first part, he designed the difficult action of whiskey using a lasso to subdue the gangster; fighting against mercenaries in the snow At the time, not only the action of killing the enemy with double guns is handsome, but also the visual effect after the lasso is powered on is eye-catching, and it almost steals the limelight of the two protagonists.
However, Whiskey's girlfriend was killed by a drug dealer, so he, like the president, believes that all addicts should die, and opposes the rescue plan of the ace agents. So such an amazing character who was not a villain was thrown into a meat grinder by the two protagonists and turned into meat sauce.
The clip about the meat grinder was deleted in China because it was "too bloody". In fact, after watching the deleted clip, I found that it was the same, and I could feel the brainless setting of the film again: the whole person was thrown into the meat grinder , clothes, bone residue, and hair are all miraculously gone, and the meat filling can be directly made into meat patties.
Anyway, the headshot can be resurrected with "black technology", the setting is all the screenwriters have the final say, and they can only make up the audience blindly.
In addition, at the end of the film, tequila (played by Channing Tatum) is arranged to appear as an easter egg, which seems to continue to destroy the series. Imagine the plot of the third part: Tequila, as a drug addict agent, saves the world and completely cleansed after the successful detoxification.
Well, such a script is very "inspirational" and very "politically correct".
