Make a good movie, please don't "wave"!

I remember two years ago, when I first saw "The Secret Service: The Secret Service", I thought to myself: "Fuck, can a special agent film be made like this?"

The gentleman's elegant British style, coupled with all kinds of bizarre killing scenes, and the director's ubiquitous cult taste, completely subverted our imagination of special agents.

Especially the two paragraphs "Church Killing" and "Fireworks Headshot", it is not an exaggeration to say that they are masterpieces in the history of the entire agent film.

The director also seems to know the "secret" of the success of the first film, desperately trying to replicate the violent aesthetics and various bad jokes of the previous work.

As a result, he took care of one thing and lost the other, which led to the complete collapse of the plot, characters and rhythm of the second part.

You must know that a movie, especially a drama, is always your first task, no matter how rough your style is.

The story can be simple, but not dull; the plot can be spoofed, but not bullshit. Unfortunately, "The Golden Circle" has not been spared from these two points.

To be honest, I don't even know how to complain about its bugs, because it's bugs from start to finish!

If the first one is compared to Jin Yong's novel, then this one is a lot of small cool articles on the Internet, and one comes out when one thinks of it.

Below, I will briefly tell the story, with minor spoilers, those who haven't seen the movie can ignore it.

As soon as the film came up, it was full of energy. First, Charlie and the protagonist Eggsy (hereinafter referred to as Eggy), who received the lunch box in the first film, had a "speed and love".

Then Kingsman's headquarters was taken over by someone because of the leaked coordinates (bewildered face).

So far, Wang's men have all been killed, and only Agent Merlin and Eggy, who was interviewed (for dinner) at his father-in-law's house, escaped.

Then they found their "cousin" - Statesaman in the United States with a bottle of wine in the secret base.

At the same time, they found Harry (hereinafter referred to as Uncle Face) who was brutally headshot in the first part.

Uncle Face was resurrected by a black technology similar to the "aunt towel", but he forgot his identity as a special agent and only wanted to fly with his dear butterfly.

At this time, the big boss Poppy who blew up the Kingsman headquarters before was not idle.

As the "North American Sun Erniang", she is happily cooking "human meat burgers" while controlling the world's largest drug trade.

One day, with a fever in her head, she poisoned her product with a drug that "dances when you inhale, and you die when you dance". She wanted to use the lives of thousands of "addicts" to threaten the president and let her Legalization of drugs.

Thinking of going to the president's side is even more extreme --

"addicts" all go to see God, so there will be no drug addiction in this world?

So, in order to prevent the world from being destroyed, in order to maintain the peace of the world, and in order to save the drug-addicted princess girlfriend, Eggy and Uncle Mian, who recovered their memory, embarked on a journey destined to be lonely...

how is it, right? Do you feel a little dizzy just reading the synopsis of the story?

Maybe some people think that it is absolutely unnecessary to discuss the rationality of the story with a cult film, and the last film also has a lot of imaginative places!

Yes, there are indeed many crazy scenes in the last film, but its advantage is precisely that it retains the logical self-consistency and realistic rationality of the big frame while subverting the traditional special agent film.

And this "Golden Circle" obviously didn't take these into account, let alone the magical realism of "aunt scarf", just to name a few bugs that can affect the viewing experience.

One is when Uncle Face was going to the enemy's lair to grab the "antidote", he suddenly killed his companion whiskey with one shot.

When did Uncle Face find out that there is a problem with the whiskey? Clearly, this was a premeditated reversal.

Normal film and television works usually leave foreshadowings when the design is reversed. These foreshadowings will not be spoilers, but will make the audience realize when they finally discover the truth.

In the film where the whisky jumps backwards, let alone foreshadowing, there is not even the slightest abnormal behavior!

In the end, the film interprets this shocking bug as "Uncle Face's intuition is very good", which can be said to be a bit of a rogue.

Fans are indeed very happy to resurrect Uncle Lian, but just because he is handsome can't let his "one-eyed" become "heaven's eye", right?

Another is Merlin's later "forced sacrifice". As an experienced agent, any object can be turned into a combat weapon in his hands. He is a veritable "weapon master".

However, in the face of an ordinary landmine, he chose to sacrifice himself without hesitation. Is the third resurrection drama going to be done again?

I can understand the need for sensational films, but the premise of sensationalism is sufficient emotional foreshadowing. Without this, the so-called "sensational" becomes disgusting "promiscuous".

I can accept his death, but I can't accept that he died so vaguely.

In addition, the emotional part of Eggy is too fake, and the part where Uncle Lian said Manners maketh man is also very deliberate.

We can no longer see the audacity of this film two years ago, perhaps because the face is getting old, or the balls have become mature, or the director Matthew Vaughn succumbed to the pressure of capital.

In short, the innocence in Kingsman's bones completely disappeared at Eggy's wedding.

I heard that there is a third movie, but according to the current routine, it will only be better than one.

But it's normal for me to think about it, after all, one star agent like James Bond is enough.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle quotes

  • [Charlie enters Poppy's Theater, wearing landmine equipment]

Poppy: You're late. Why are you still wearing that?

Charlie: Until you get rid of the perimeter landmines, I'll keep wearing the suit, thank you very much.

Poppy: Scaredy-cat. Shut up and sit down. Let's go!

[Poppy turns on the stage lights, revealing Elton John]

    Charlie: 'Crocodile Rock', please.

    Elton John: Fuck you!

[Poppy zaps Elton with the collar around his neck]

Poppy: Hey, hey, Elton. Language. Okay, well, as fabulous as your catalogue is, I think I want to hear some Gershwin.

[Elton sighs and plays the piano]

Charlie: I still can't believe you got away with kidnapping Elton John.

Poppy: I know! But with Valentine abducting those celebrities, it seemed silly not to take advantage of the confusion.

Charlie: Shit! Has Elton got the blue rash?

    Poppy: Lights.

[Elton stops playing the piano as the theater lights turn on]

Poppy: Hey, Elton, have you been a bad boy again?

[Elton shakes his head as Poppy approaches the stage]

Poppy: You're lying. Look at your hands.

[Elton notices the blue rash on his hands]

    Elton John: What is it?

Poppy: It's proof that my plan is gonna work. It's also the first sign of a slow and horrible death. Don't worry, I can fix it. Tell me who you parties with.

Elton John: [sighs] It was Angel.

Poppy: Huh, not very angelic. Gonna have to clip his wings.

  • First Burly Guard: Sir Elton, stay here. We're under attack.

Elton John: Is it a rescue attempt?

    First Burly Guard: Might be.

    Elton John: [whispering] Yes!

    [Elton starts playing his piano]

Elton John: [singing] Wednesday! Wednesday! Wednesday! Wednesday! Wednesday! Wednesday! Wednesday! Wednesday! Wednesday night's all right! Hey!

First Burly Guard: Isn't that supposed to be Saturday?

Elton John: What day is it today?

    First Burly Guard: Wednesday?

    Elton John: Exactly!

[Elton stomps on the guard's foot and slams him into his piano]
