The narration of flowing clouds and flowing water, two hours without feeling bored at all, no roaring, no anger, all restraint and firm belief, firm belief in the law, and firm belief that one is a member of maintaining fairness and justice. Even the court scenes were filmed so quietly and restrained.
They were so young back then, Tom Hanks and Denzo Washington. And the beautiful Anthony Banderas. And cold, cold female lawyers.
At the end of the film, the few seconds of blankness before the subtitles are raised are touching.
