history of civilization

The score was so low that I was speechless. When I was watching the movie, I was thinking that the English name of the movie is spoor (animal footprints), and how the Chinese name is the soil of the bones. I finally realized that the movie was adapted from the novel "drive your plough over the bones of the dead", the original Chinese name was directly translated from the novel's title, and I think it's really good. Just three simple names remind people of the pictures in the movie, with rich connotations. Maybe this highly symbolic and historical film is really incomprehensible in the eyes of people who like to watch dramatic plots and are full of positive views.

After Horan filmed mainstream art films such as "Secret Garden", "Total Eclipse", and "Washington Square", it seems difficult to find the rhythm of his earlier works. Naturally, the director's technique is becoming more and more mature, but his spirit is gone. . This film clearly talks about animal protection, and it alludes to power. It links the laws of nature with the laws of human beings, which is somewhat far-fetched, and the expression is too straightforward and simple. The director deserves credit for speaking up for the underdog, but something backfired.

The best movie I've seen this year! The spirit and belief of the film are the animals I pursue and they are also spiritual. Their lives are also worthy of respect. The elk and the silly robes that appear many times in the film are the gods of justice who examine the sins committed by human beings.

  • Janina Duszejko: Although logically it makes no sense: You're allowed to kill someone on February 28th, but the next day you're not. It's absurd.

  • Janina Duszejko: You walk past butcher stores and see meat. But it's someone's quartered body!
