This isn't your ordinary Hollywood-esque spy movie, it's a real fight where everything is in secret. As the chief agent said, he did not treat the agent as a human being, and the whole incident was actually just a game of chess played by him, just to convince the authorities of the threat of terrorist organizations. He needed a terrorist attack to happen, but he was in control of it, so the real backstop he arranged was Pierre. His abrupt change of faith in the front may not have clearly shown this, but towards the end, the heroine may have discovered this, so she said don't let them destroy you like they destroyed me. Later, it was made clear that the security asked him to find the captain if he had something to do. As for calling him by his Christian name, it implied that because he had not been exposed, he would definitely continue to perform tasks in this capacity. Knowing this, there's something to be said for this movie, not a spy movie without passion
