The most embarrassing thing is not Wu Yifan

From "The Fifth Element" to "Super Body", Luc Besson's futuristic sci-fi movies all have one feature: the setting is great and the plot is mediocre. The same is true for "Interstellar: The City of a Thousand Planets" (hereinafter referred to as "Interstellar"). Watch this movie without the hope of watching "Interstellar" or "A Space Odyssey" or worrying that it will make you fall asleep. Like "The Fifth Element", "Interstellar Agent" is just an ordinary special effects commercial blockbuster that burns a lot of money, the special effects are very delicate, and the plot is very clichéd.

The story of "Interstellar Agent" is set in the 28th century. At the beginning of the film, the 700-year history from the 21st century to the 28th century is quickly passed in just a few minutes: In 2020, China launched a manned space station, and Chinese astronauts Rendezvous with Russian cosmonauts on the International Space Station. Decades later, humans developed spacecraft that could generate gravity themselves, ushering in the era of space travel. After the establishment of the Alpha Space Station, communication channels have been established with aliens from different regions and races in the universe. In order to get rid of the huge gravitational force of the earth, the Alpha Space Station sailed to the depths of the universe. In the course of hundreds of years of development, it has gradually become a "city of a thousand stars" where various ethnic groups in the universe coexist peacefully.

In this prelude, aliens of various races appear in turn, shaking hands with human beings. When I first saw this kind of setting, I thought it was (te) a little (bie) nonsense: It has only been a hundred or two hundred years, so why are all kinds of aliens suddenly appearing? How did you hook up with all kinds of aliens? How can you build a supermassive space station in space? Is this a little too fast? And without any details, it happened like a myth. It is perfunctory! Is this the case with the original manga?

Just when I was at a loss, the movie showed us the magnificent beauty of an alien planet. The sea and the sky meet each other and complement each other. A group of bald Wu Ke pearl people collected beautiful pearls and held a ceremony to give back to the beautiful planet. I have to say that the special effects are really beautiful, even more beautiful than the scenery of Hainan. Just as the audience revels in this fantastic world, disaster strikes. The male protagonist woke up instantly, and everything seemed like a dream but not a dream.

At this time I understood: what aliens, the rationality of the spacecraft are not important. As a visual effect blockbuster with more than 2,700 special effects shots, "Interstellar Agent" presents a future cosmic world where humans and various aliens coexist harmoniously. There are not only a dazzling shopping mall, a huge space station Alpha City, a beautiful alien scenery, but also a variety of aliens and hot and intense action scenes. What more could you ask for in a commercial with a big picture?

"Interstellar" reminds me of "Interstellar", which is also a space science fiction film, but the style is diametrically opposite. Compared with Christopher Nolan, Luc Besson can be said to be completely "reverse". Nolan does not use film to shoot 3D, Besson has already started to shoot digital 3D films; most of Nolan's shots are physical special effects, and almost all of Besson's films are CG; Nolan's sci-fi films are rigorously set and strictly follow physics Rules, Besson's unrestrained imagination, how colorful and colorful outer space comes. But in the end, both of them present a shocking visual experience to the audience in their own way.

For the "alien" aspect, "Interstellar" is laudable for its creativity. Needless to say, the planetary beauty of the "Pearl Man", the prosperity of the "shopping mall" also makes people linger. "Bubble", played by Rihanna, is also a highlight of the film. It keeps switching in various styles of dance, changing clothes quickly, which is unforgettable. Of course, these all require strong special effects support.

It is worth mentioning that, except in China, South Korea and other regions, there are only ordinary 2D and 3D versions of "Interstellar Agent", and the IMAX version has not been released. I watched the normal 3D version, and the 3D effect was not satisfactory. Although it is "China and South Korea special for IMAX", but given the strong visual effects of this film, it is not bad to spend a little more money to enjoy the giant screen.

Although the visual effects are really powerful, the perfunctory and exaggerated aspects of the plot of "Interstellar Agent" are always difficult to understand. In the film, the Pearl Man, who was originally in a state of primitive tribes, was trapped in a spaceship for decades, and was able to learn human language, philosophy, and technology by himself, bridge the development gap of thousands of years, and upgrade to a space civilization? This is too great, right? ! This really doesn't make sense, it makes people play.

Some people worry that Wu Yifan's joining will appear embarrassing. In fact, this worry is completely unnecessary. Because not only does Wu Yifan have a small number of roles, but also the most embarrassing thing about this film is the CP of the male and female protagonists.

In fact, the male and female CPs of "Interstellar Agent" do not call at all, and there is no spark. The male protagonist who was full of other women in the album inexplicably gave up on the female protagonist, and finally said that he would delete all other photos, but it seemed completely unbelievable. And the female protagonist is really hooked after being teased a few times, regardless of the danger, she goes into the "dangerous situation" alone to save the male protagonist. How did you two meet each other's eyes? Our audience can't see it at all!

And since Rihanna's debut, the plot has plummeted. Somehow the heroine was in trouble, and somehow Rihanna got the lunch. What's more confusing is that they easily found the secret base of the Pearl Man. And the identity of the commander's villain was written on his face since his first appearance. Look at the beginning, know the end. It seems that Luc Besson still can't escape the curse of "anticlimactic".

The most WTF episode is that the male protagonist who was going to "hand over the pearl cute beast to the country" was changed by the female protagonist after a few words. Excuse Me? This plot is too far-fetched, brother, you change your face faster than you turn a book!

A few days ago, Luc Besson sprayed the media with American superhero films. Said "Superheroes have superpowers, and I'm just a weak person, I can't identify with him because we are too far apart." "No country dares to call a movie 'Captain Brazil' or 'Captain France', And the United States can, this is a kind of political propaganda, I am not here to promote, I am telling a story." However, the plot of "Interstellar Agent" is still half as big as most superhero movies, and it is still the kind of "four or two" There is nothing new in the routine of "one person saves the world". And at the end of "Interstellar Agent", isn't it also propaganda that if you know something wrong, you should correct it, and don't sacrifice other civilizations?

Moreover, the truth promoted by "Interstellar Agent" is not new. In cosmic warfare, diplomacy and exploration, try not to affect low-level civilizations, let alone help or destroy them. This principle is advocated in "Star Trek" and other foreign science fiction film and television literary works, and Liu Cixin's novel "The Village Teacher" has also made a similar exposition. Luc Besson really has nothing to look down on "Captain America".

Although "Interstellar Agent" has various shortcomings in the plot and characters, as a blockbuster visual effect, it is still worth the ticket price. If you have just been killed by "Manchester by the Sea" at the cinema and have extra time, you might as well buy a ticket, don't use your brain, and let your eyes enjoy a 137-minute space journey with peace of mind.
