A masterpiece

In 1985, when I was just going to school, I knew that there was an American film that swept the streets of China. This was the first drop of blood. Although schools in the 1980s would organize students to watch movies, this movie is not in this scope, but almost everyone knows the popularity of the film's fighting, especially the scene where Rambo himself stitches himself, which is simply popular.

Many years have passed, and I have no impression of what the film is about. I watched two sequels in middle school, one in Vietnam and the other in Afghanistan. What impressed me most was Da Da Da, especially the helicopter battle in Afghanistan at the end. So I think the first one might be the same way.

Now re-watching the first one, I find that it is really a masterpiece. Rambo, as a war hero, is not accepted by society. His only hope in life seems to be the troops and his comrades in arms. When he learned that the only surviving comrade in arms was gone, his smile changed from His face disappeared, and he hardly changed his expression throughout the film until he finally faced the Colonel's emotional catharsis. The process of a war hero who is loyal to the country but not accepted by the society is so well portrayed. In fact, I think Tengu also has the shadow of this story, but the tengu's forbearance before the rebellion is too long and it is distressing. Of course, Li Tiangu has a family. Industry, can not be like Rambo so happy and grudge.

    Guardsman #3: M-60

Rambo: [beat] Okay! Robert A! Get out of the truck!

  • State Police Capt. Dave Kern: Why didn't you leave the kid alone in the first place?

Teasle: Dammit, Dave, you think this kid just waltzed into town, announced he was a Medal Of Honor winner, and then I just leaned on him for the hell of it? I tried to do him a favor, I treated him like he was one of my neighbor's kids. I did my job, Dave, I booked him for vagrancy and resisting arrest.

State Police Capt. Dave Kern: You seem pretty motivated on this one.

Teasle: Why don't you go out there and take a look at what's left of my men? You'll see how motivated I am, Dave, and if that doesn't do it for you why don't you go have a talk with Art Gault's widow?

State Police Capt. Dave Kern: All right, Will, I read you. Listen, I got twenty-five men I can bring up from Monroe.

Teasle: [calming down] All right Dave, I can use them. We've got a lot of ground to cover.
