"The Anti-Cancer Me" 7.8
I thought that this was the usual sad light comedy style and standard canned inspiration of Jiao Cerf, just like the American version of "Fuck You Tumor". But this movie is undoubtedly more special. Its depression and flatness is the state of true despair—trying to attach itself to love, but avoiding excessive care and compassion, that kind of loneliness is deeper and more desperate.
However, there are still quite a few canned things in the movie itself. For example, you can always meet love in despair, you can always reach a final reconciliation with your family and friendship, and you can always find hope in a difficult situation. However, perhaps having such a faint and warm hope is what the movie itself wants to convey the most. After all, life is so difficult, why reproduce the cruel reality.
