The weakest of the four films. The action sequel, while exciting, didn't have enough plot momentum to keep audiences entertained. Director Justin Lin lacked the love of design that made Fast and the Furious 2001's beautiful roulette game full of excitement. "Cars" did exactly what the audience expected it to be, but unfortunately, that's it. The poor script and weak acting keep the film from feeling as powerful as the prequels. Noisy, metal squeaks and glass shatters, more noise, the roar of engines, Vin Diesel's big head, sexy chicks in tight miniskirts, more noise, and the film ends.
