Maybe it's because I feel the same way about the author and the male protagonist. Makes me understand the power that can't burst out in weak people's hearts when they are hurt. The author expresses it in the form of film, just as the male protagonist in the film expresses it in the way of writing. Fortunately, I am a person who can escape from myself, and understand that such revenge is just the imagination of the sensitive and vulnerable people. The appeal of the work cannot complete the defense of weakness, let alone achieve revenge. And the ending like that in the plot probably only exists in Ah Q's fantasy. I don't know if people who are not so sensitive can empathize with the emotions the author wants to express, so I can't tell if the film achieves the effect the author wants. But as one of the audience, my empathy is too deep, and I have to give praise.
Accept your weakness, live with it, enjoy the abundance of emotions brought by sensitivity, and don't pretend to be strong. These are perhaps the best places for people of our kind. In other words, this is the first step to getting really strong.
