If you just watch this movie without considering the real background, it is not excellent in Hong Changxiu's work. In terms of grasping the subtle feelings of men and women, it is not as good as "Right Now and Wrong", which is the love-making work of the two, and in the ingenious conception of structure, it is not as good as "The Hill of Freedom", and even if it is the same description of reality and dreams interweaving, I still prefer "Hae Won Who Is Not Alone's Daughter".
But if you use the romance of two people in reality as the background, the movie will be gorgeous immediately. Let me talk about a few episodes that left a deep impression on me. For example, Kim Min-hee's female companion in Germany lived a sexless marriage with her husband without passion. For example, Jin Minxi told his girlfriend that he had made friends with many handsome men in the past, but those relationships were immature. There is also the cafe owner played by Zheng Zaiyong, a former literary youth who has turned into a family man who picks beans, facing a vulgar girlfriend all day long, and his inner anguish can be imagined. Finally, there is the painful confession of the old director, who did not hesitate to express his heart with Chekov's declaration of love.
Of course, we can say that this is just a movie, and we don't have to go through and connect with reality, probably Hong Changxiu himself will not admit that these plots are related to reality. But compared to our far-fetched interpretation of Lu Xun's works, Hong Changxiu's film is simply trying to hook you up to start your daydream, and it has reached the point of being disrespectful.
In Hong Changxiu's previous works, the most attractive thing is his mockery of his own life. He expresses the man's sanctimoniousness, selfishness, cowardice and the filth and chaos of the entertainment industry incisively and vividly. Male audiences tend to watch his movies more and more. More ashamed. However, in this film, he changed his normal behavior and tried hard to accuse the artist of the harm caused by mediocre marriage, expressing the depression and despair that men want to love but dare not love. All the satire and sarcasm in Hong Dao's past works are gone, and Hong Dao still loves himself very much.
Of course, Director Hong loves Kim Min Hee the most. To be honest, if you only look at the plane photos, Jin Minxi is not beautiful, but once she adds her inner soul, she immediately transforms into a fairy. Kim Min-hee is the kind of woman who has a fatal attraction to men. In ancient times, people called such a woman a bad face with fear and admiration. In Hong Changxiu's films, Jin Minxi showed a prism-like charm, warm, elegant, cool, lazy, and at ease... It was difficult for the audience to take their eyes off her.
But to be honest, Kim Min-hee was able to become a Berlin actress, not because she showed acting skills comparable to Jeon Do-yeon. If you watch a lot of her dramas, you will find that she is not the kind of method to act like what, no matter what drama she is filming, she is actually playing herself. And the reason why she can win this time is probably because the role she plays is herself. Stanislavsky said that to walk into a character, what could be easier than to walk into yourself? All emotions and feelings are the most accurate, and this is the true sense of indistinguishable people.
In and out of the play, Hong Changxiu and Jin Minxi made the strongest declaration of love, and they even felt that the wind was about to be turned by them. Hong Changxiu's wife looked more like a stumbling block in a great love. It was Aunt Xue and Rong. Mammy exists like that. I think Aunt Qiong Yao must be the one who understands Jin Minxi the most.
In all fairness, it is of course immoral for the junior third to be in the top position and adultery in marriage, but what is morality? It is a customary code of conduct for people to defend their own interests and reduce social costs. For example, marriage, the birth of the marriage system is the protection of property and inheritance rights. Men use marriage to ensure that their heirs are their descendants, and women use marriage to ensure the living resources of themselves and their children. The destruction of marriage is the destruction of these guarantees, which is not tolerated by mainstream society. It's not just because your adultery is sincere. Maybe one day, when the marriage dies, it doesn't matter if you don't cheat, but until the marriage dies, an affair is always immoral.
Of course, this is the view of ordinary people. In the eyes of those pioneering artists and thinkers, morality and etiquette are shackles, suppressing human nature and blocking passion. If civilization is advancing more and more freely, then these people are the vanguard. They not only break through the moral shackles personally, but also accuse the dissatisfaction of reality through the right to speak. To tell the truth, Hong Changxiu made a movie and expressed that it was a petty mess. There are many people who are more revolutionary than him.
For example, the famous thinker John Mill is the author of Yan Fu's translation of "On the Realm of Quanjiquan". When Mill was 25 years old, he met 23-year-old Mrs. Taylor, and their hearts hit it off. Mill said in her autobiography that she was not only an elegant lady, but also very intelligent (Kim Min-hee also has the qualities that are fatal to intellectuals). The two were in love for 20 years, and only after Mr. Taylor died. marry.
However, in the Victorian era where Mill lived, such extramarital affairs were shocking, perhaps because they were stimulated, and the two became pioneers of the feminist movement. Perhaps because his love experience was criticized, Mill had a deep aversion to moral public opinion, and wrote these resentments into the "group and self-rights theory": "This social tyranny is more terrible than many kinds of political oppression, because although it is Not often backed by extreme punishment, it leaves people with fewer escapes, because it penetrates much deeper into the details of life, because it enslaves the soul itself." What a deep resentment.
This is the privilege of avant-garde thinkers and artists. They will never be bound by morality. They have to be good when they get cheap. They package their deviant behaviors as ideas and art, and play a trick with the ordinary people to "make a record of it". And as a mediocre person with a sanctimonious appearance and a cowardly heart, I can only envy secretly. So I have no attitude towards the extramarital affairs between the two, but I am happy that Director Hong has become highly productive because of the stimulation. The unfortunate marriage obviously provided Director Hong with creative inspiration.
As for Kim Min-hee, what can I say? I love her.
