The atmosphere was so depressing that even a little bit more intense background music would make one's heart skip a beat. I want the heroine to escape but I am afraid that she will be hurt, I want her to be content with the status quo but I am afraid that she will go crazy, and I am entangled and helpless. As a female movie viewer, I shudder. Depressed wanting to collapse and cry, the suffocating experience, unsurprisingly, should be the best American drama this year. The production is high-end, the use of light in photography is superb, and the soundtrack always makes people feel like a dark cloud is pressing over the head, as if it will explode at any time, until the head explodes in a terrifying scene. The guidance is really awesome. The psychological depiction of a large number of characters is excellent. The violent scene of the handmaid makes people want to die. The dystopian theme is not very comfortable after watching it. I feel how the human development is so hopeless in the end. Maybe it is the intention of this film itself that makes people reflect?
