I have always liked Hayao Miyazaki’s animation style very much. This may not be his most outstanding but the most Miyazaki-style work~ We have been seeking freedom and spiritual comfort all our lives. How to do it seems to have been in this movie. Found the answer: a house, a family, a love for which you can fight. My memory is always fixed in the scene at the end of the movie, simple but beautiful, Hal looked down at Sophie, the breeze was rising, the skirt fluttering, the beauty was breathtaking, and it comforted the soul. Fortunately, there are still such a group of people in this troubled world to stick to this pure quality and that true love. Love and hope coexist, peace and freedom are also what we want to pursue. The film as a whole is still shining. This film embeds the metaphor of the soul into the simple frame of a fairy tale; it integrates the modern concepts of love, freedom, and peace into the beautiful and lyrical poetic style, which is refreshing.
