This is a refreshing Indian film I have seen so far, it is very lifelike and full of positive energy.

1. The story takes place in an Indian village. Unlike the previous urban life, people here are neighbors to each other, and the village population is small. The patriarchal system is still implemented, and there is no autocracy as imagined. On the contrary, it will welcome new things, such as owning a mobile phone and applying for a TV set. Although the elders are composed of men with high morals, women have an equal voice in the meeting;

2. It inevitably shows the difference in the status of men and women in India, especially the inequality of women in marriage. However, on the other hand, under the influence of new environment and new things, some women have begun to understand the satisfaction of their own needs. However, she is by no means a tool for the boss to make money, she dares to refuse, dare to say no. On the one hand, she enjoys the stage, and on the other hand, she builds a high platform. Although in the eyes of the local villagers, she is considered an out-and-out bad woman, but she knows what she wants. She is cheerful, independent and confident, and is a spark;

3. Rani is a typical Indian woman at the beginning. Seriously fulfill her role as a woman, wife, daughter-in-law, mother, she has suffered too much. As for being abandoned by her husband and becoming a widow, this may be a good thing for her. Single to manage the marriage for the son, take care of the elderly mother, dominate the family, and truly become the head of the family. In the social environment of India, she is a kind person, a helpless and understanding woman. Therefore, when she found out that her son was disobedient and her daughter-in-law was tortured, she chose to let go and make things happen;

4. La Qiao tends to be resolute, married for many years and had no children, and she always acquiesced that it was her own problem. Under the encouragement of Bickley, she tried bravely, and when they went to the zoo together, she chatted that she wanted a child, not because she wanted to fulfill her mission as a woman, but because she really wanted a child, and bravely said that she wanted a girl .

The ending of the movie is that the three of them walk together, escape the cage of bondage, and run towards a free life.

Although the vast majority of women in India have a miserable life, few are as lucky as these three heroines. But from this movie, we can see that society brings us pressure and constraints; but we are not completely without choices. How to change the status of Indian women, in fact, the most important thing is that women start to understand themselves, and in this gradual process, they accept a new self, and try to influence friends around them.

As the saying goes, a single spark can start a prairie fire.
