The story is very simple. The delivery man Ma and Peony fell in love, but Ma and his gang hijacked Peony to blackmail her father in exchange for a ransom of 450,000. When Peony learned that she was deceived by her lover, she jumped into Suzhou River and disappeared. Later, when Ma Da was looking for a peony, he met Mei Mei who looked like a peony. At that time, Meimei was performing a mermaid in a bar. Meimei is the girlfriend of the "protagonist" who never appeared in the film.
The narrative of the film is what interests me. From the perspective of the inherent time-space relationship of the story, the editing effect, and the uncertainty of the narrator's identity, the film has been deliberately creating a dream-like narrative effect through random shots.
If I leave one day, will you look for me like a motor? Yes. Will you keep looking? meeting. Will you always find death? meeting. you are lying.
