No matter what they are watching, they are a group of watchers.

Scarlett is watching the money, watching the people of Tara no longer starve, watching Ashley's love, watching the broken dream, watching the growth. Rhett watched Scarlett, and little Bonnie the continuation of her life, watched all the love a man could give to a woman. Ashley watched the life of the past, watched the era that passed away with the wind. Melanie watched love, love everyone, love Atlanta, love life, she watched her husband and son, watched Ashley truly stand up one day. Margaret Mitchell's "Gone with the Wind" is unique among the works describing the American Civil War with a unique female perspective, and is highly appreciated by readers. Although there are also descriptions of the magnificent scenes of the war in the works, such as the wounded soldiers on the Pentagon Square on the day Atlanta broke the city, the thrilling escape, the shooting and so on. However, female writers have always been good at portraying their delicate characters' psychological personality. The colorful literary characters are vividly on the paper under the effect of the author's fluent writing, and they are lifelike. Reading the whole book horizontally, it is the history of the decline of the old southern plantation civilization, the history of growth and struggle of a generation; and the whole book, it is like a tragic psychological drama, revealing the heroine with the power of drama The process of maturity in the conflict with the heart. So watching "Gone with the Wind" is like walking into a primeval forest, the deeper the more beautiful. Perhaps, the literary character can be described by the colors of reality, then, give Scarlett the perseverance of black; Rhett, the depth of ice blue; Melanie, the kindness of pink; Ashley, the melancholy of blue-gray. Scarlett’s perseverance has always been one of the highlights of this book. Black is given to it because black has a pure side, like Scarlett’s firm belief in the ultimate life; black also has a vague side, like Scarlett’s running in the fog of night Confused, because she has never seen the object of true love. Scarlett is definitely not a perfect woman. But her charm is beyond the scope permitted by law. She is strong, confident, passionate about life, but stingy, superstitious, bullying, and inadvertently sending a few people to the west. But it is this mixed character that makes her more charming. No one is perfect in reality, and so should be in literature. In the troubled times of sudden change, after being traumatized and shocked, I can stand up strong, pick cotton, and let my delicate hands be covered with calluses, but the purpose is just to live. People in Tara are no longer starving. She gained black perseverance in the red land of Tara. As her father Hao Jiale said, in this world, only the land is with the sun and the moon. This powerful force, combined with her inherently Irish descent and potentially rebellious thoughts, made her go her own way, not caring what others think or think, not caring about moral constraints, openly doing business in Atlanta with the Yankees who destroyed their homeland, and not caring about doing anything. The husband's Frank would have no place to show himself. So Scarlett is selfish, but her selfishness is not only based on self-serving, she is for many people, for Tara's dozen or so mouths to eat, for the person she loves and his wife and children, for Aunt Baidie, the aunts who lived far away, and even the blacks before Tara, Scarlett's selfishness helped many people. When setbacks struck, she had been disappointed countless times, but she never despaired. Just like the old lady Fontaine said, they are water chestnuts. When the wind blows, they bow their heads and bend over. After the wind blows, they straighten up and continue to receive the sun better. Always have the courage to stand up, hold your head high, and accept the baptism of wind and rain. And what supported her to do this was just a perfect dress shrouded in a golden halo, a emptied soul, a stubborn and stubborn faith. Scarlett's dedication to love has been an indestructible belief in her life. She has absolute faith in love, but she got the wrong object, on the journey of watching love. Reid said that Scarlett is like a child crying for the moon, giving up the happiness in his hands, and willful and stubbornly never looking back. I think in the zodiac, she must be Leo. It's just that when Scarlett is pursuing that "perfect dress" blindly, she never imagined that even the air around Rhett was latent in pursuit and love for her boundless happiness. So she could only watch Rhett leave sadly exhausted because of her stubbornness. But she finally matured and understood what she really wanted, and for her, what she wanted was sure to get. "Tomorrow is another day!" I waited for Scarlett to get strength from Tara again, and let Rhett come back to her again. I like this ending, not a happy ending, with a touch of sorrow, but it is not a tragedy, because there is hope, in Scarlett’s heart, and in our heart. For Scarlett, the true meaning of her life is to have desires, she never knows how to be satisfied, nor can she be satisfied. Learning to be satisfied is a blasphemy to her life and heralds the withering of the flower of life. She can only keep pursuing and hunting for a goal, first love, watching Ashley; then food and clothing, watching money; then Ashley, and finally Rhett, she just realized her true love. So Scarlett is destined to not know in advance that her true love is Rhett, and she must understand after the death of her daughter, after Melanie's death, Rhett has to leave because of complete disappointment. Life seems to have played an incomparable joke with her, but it is a real existence. She needs to pay the most painful price for her perseverance and willfulness. After everything has passed by the wind, Scarlett has matured. "Gone with the Wind" is a history of Scarlett's growth. Reid is icy blue, the outermost color of the flame, and the junction of fire and ice. I like his previous obsession, and I like his final departure, "I would rather break it for jade than for completeness". He is so perfect that it makes people talk about it. The movie is not as good as the original, but it is already the ultimate, Vivien Leigh’s Scarlett came out of the book.

It can be said to be an epic masterpiece, and it was amazing to be able to shoot so well in 1939.

Gone with the Wind quotes

  • Scarlett: Now I didn't come to talk silliness about me, Rhett. I came 'cause I was so miserable at the thought of you in trouble. Oh, I know I was mad at you the night you left me on the road to Tara, and I still haven't forgiven you!

Rhett Butler: Oh, Scarlett! Don't say that!

Scarlett: Well I must admit I might not be alive now, only for you. And when I think of myself with everything I could possibly hope for, and not a care in the world... And you here in this horrid jail... and not even a human jail, Rhett, a horse jail!

  • Scarlett: Great balls of fire! HICCUP! It's Rhett!
