Watch "Spider-Man 3" on IMAX

No wonder everyone has such high expectations for "Spider-Man 3", "Spider-Man 1" is good, the improvement of "Spider-Man 2" is obvious, and the trailer of "Spider-Man 3" is so dazzling. For me, director Sam Raimi is another director I like very much, so I can't help but look forward to it.

As a result, if you watch the trailer and 7-minute clips of "Spider-Man 3" and feel very enjoyable, then the feature film of "Spider-Man 3" will continue your pleasure, but I am afraid it will not give you more satisfaction.

This is the first time I have watched a feature film in IMAX. I have only watched a documentary once before, so let's talk about the more interesting part first.

When booking tickets, I started to be a little unsure of where to choose. In my habit, if the theater seats are divided into front and rear zones, I like to choose the first row of the back zone. This time I was still a little worried about IMAX, so I chose the second row in the back zone.

After I sat down in the cinema, I felt that it was a little closer this time compared to the position I was used to. When the IMAX advertisement was lit up, the screen covered my entire viewable area. Without turning my head away, it would be difficult to see the dark part of the theater.

In fact, during the whole viewing process, I kept my eyes wide open so that I could see all the corners of the screen. But for fans of the big screen, this feeling is very fond of me. I used to like the feeling that I couldn't see the borders of the screen, but this time I couldn't even see the upper and lower borders. When the protagonists fall from the towering screen, the giant screen feels really cool.

I guess the big-eyed beauty might feel better than me when looking at IMAX.

The advantage of IMAX is more than just a giant screen. The sharpness of the picture is very high, and the details are subtle. I think this is probably the best definition of the movie I have ever seen. IMAX's sound effects are also very outstanding, but because most people's hearing is not as sensitive as vision, they may not feel the huge difference between IMAX and ordinary theaters in audio.

However, I admit that this kind of subtitled movie is not suitable for IMAX. In order to see the subtitles and the tears in the eyes of the protagonist, I had to fly my eyes up and down quickly. I suspect that if someone looks at me head-on, they will feel that I am trying to practice rolling my eyes. After watching the 140-minute movie, my eyes are really tired.

Okay, after talking about IMAX, let's talk about the less interesting parts, I mean the movie itself.

Let’s talk about the good part first. Sam Raimi is one of the most creative directors for images. When you don’t have money, you’re in The Dead Evil. Later, if you have money, you can still spend money on “Spider-Man 2”. Different.

In Spider-Man 3, there are still many very creative perspective applications. The most common is the trailing flight that appeared in the second episode, but the angle change is bolder. There are also many other details that are impressive, such as the zoom out shot of the sand from the sand to the entire sand man when the sand man starts to converge.

The fight between Spider-Man and the Green Goblin seen in the 7-minute preview looked even more exciting on the giant screen, but the subsequent fights were nothing more than that. I'm not saying that the following fights were not as exciting as this first time. In fact, I should say that every time it was very exciting, but there have not been too many changes. If you watch too much, you will be aesthetically tired. When I watched this episode, I kind of missed the scene where the city rail stopped in the second episode.

The story rhythm of "Spider-Man 3" seems to be a bit problematic. This was originally the strong point of the "Spider-Man" series, but this time, there was a long period of time in the middle that made me want to see the watch. It seems that "Spider-Man 3" lacks a strong driving force to promote the development of the plot, and the emotional drama is a bit too procrastinated.

However, even worse is the character setting. There is no doubt that this is the worst set of characters in the Spider-Man series. The behavioral decisions of many characters are difficult to understand. Peter is selfish and selfish, just like a middle school student. This is pretty good. When MJ told him about the breakup, I thought the Green Devils had the means of mind control. Unexpectedly, it was the screenwriter who made a mistake. Afterwards, the transformation of the Green Goblin and the transformation of the Sand Man became even more trifling, and it was unbelievable.

In general, the visual effects of "Spider-Man 3" are good enough to make people feel aesthetically tired, and the plot is only on the level of an ordinary audiovisual blockbuster, which is completely incomparable with the previous work.

IMDB scored 8.2 (2376 people voted), I scored 6.
