I think Filet is an extraordinary ant. He invents those machines that can surprisingly improve production efficiency. But he always screws things up. And the ants have oppressed by grasshoppers for a long time and no one stands up to fight except for Filet.

The movie is good at express the trait of this insect. For example, flies like to eat shit , caterpillar wants to become a beautiful butterfly and so on. It's fantastic.

There is one Chinese old saying goes that "Union is strength". Chopsticks one of the very easy to break but you can't to lots of chopsticks. Weak things united become strong.

The little dot complain herself that she can not do anything to help people. Filet tells her that you just like a seed, you need some time, a little bit of water and sunshine. You will grow into the big tree, finally. I know that we are all tiny seed right now, we need to learn constantly so that we can grow into a big tree and achieve our dreams.

The story of the ants fighting against the enslavement of the grasshoppers is relatively young. The final nc segment is very funny. The animation technology is excellent. As Pixar’s earliest work is very different from the current work

A Bug's Life quotes

  • Slim: Say, how many roaches does it take to screw in a light bulb? Can't tell. Soon as the light goes on, they scatter.

  • Hopper: You think it's over?

Flik: No, no, no! No I-I can explain!

Hopper: All your little stunt did was buy them time.

    Flik: No, please! Please, Hopper!

Hopper: I'll get more grasshoppers and be back next season, but you won't.

[suddenly, a bird looms over them]

Hopper: Well, what's this? Another one of your little bird tricks?

    Flik: Yep!

Hopper: Are there a bunch of little girls in this one, too? Hello, girls!

    [the bird shrieks]

    Hopper: Aaaugh!
