The title is written in Aikawa's superman fantasy style, because I think Godzilla is actually very similar to superman fantasy.
What I don't know is whether this film is too CG level, or whether it is deliberately shot with the special shooting method of the past. The pomp of Dongbao is really big, and it seems that I can understand the feeling that Anno Hideaki feels that he is exhausted...
Many shots are actually not used to it (such as the close-up of the rear side of the tank and the track tracking), after all, I am used to seeing the cool special effects films of Laomei. Some of the shots don't know what the Anno thief wants to express (such as something on the middle of Godzilla's tail slipping down, and the humanoid skeleton at the end of Godzilla's tail), look back at the analysis. In addition, there are some techniques that don't feel like movies, after all, they are made of animation. According to the introduction given by Xu Yuanxuan, this film does not have a protagonist and does not need a protagonist. The important thing is not the human character nor Godzilla, but "what was destroyed by Godzilla." This is the real inheritance of the first generation brother. The thing of Sla's will is the embodiment of the fear of nuclear and war. It's not just lives that die, and it's not just buildings that are destroyed. It's something that is deep somewhere deeper in this country. To sum up, my rating for this film is either 2/5 or 5/5, I can't choose which one to judge, I can't choose, I don't want to choose.
