April 9, 1940, the day of the war in Denmark. A bicycle platoon against an armored division is not as tragic as the Polish cavalry wielding a saber slashing a tank; a four-hour blockade is not comparable to China's eight years of resistance—now corrected to fourteen years of resistance. But a small country has the dignity of a small country. In a battle that is doomed to fail, what is the point of perseverance?
I was surprised that such an important film in Denmark, the national treasure actor Mikkelsen ("Casino Royale", "Doctor Strange") did not appear in the role. Checked the cast and found there was a "Mickelson". It turns out that this Mikkelsen (the big boss of the third season of "Shen Xia") is that Mikkelsen's brother.
April 9, 1940, the day of the Danish war; April 9, 1940, the day of the surrender of Denmark. On the same day, the King of Norway was also making a difficult choice of war or surrender. ("The King's Choice" 2016)
