A successful commercial film, a failed musical

Strictly speaking, this movie has 3 and a half stars. Before talking about the many pain points of the film, let's talk about the good parts of the film.

The film directly refers to the best costumes and best visual effects at the Oscars. The best costumes are represented by the gold trimming of Belle's evening dress and Beast's evening dress. The best visual effects are represented by the starry lights of Belle's first dinner plate dance and two-person solo dance. In terms of relationship, the more successful emotional foreshadowing in the first half leads to the tears when father and daughter meet in the second half. The climax fighting scene is also a highlight, using more elements of comedy films. The actor introduction at the end of the film abandons the static freeze frame in the past and uses gif-like animation to make the characters more deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.

As a musical film, its pain points are also singing and dancing. The songs and dances in the first half are messy, the purpose is unclear, and the connection with the plot is unnatural, and it feels a bit forced in. Especially when Belle first appeared on the stage, the songs and dances in the village were even more fragmented than Rap, and the cuts were also relatively fragmented. The singing and dancing in the middle is relatively protracted, especially when Belle is attending the dinner, the saucer is flying. Although its function is to relieve Belle's nervousness when she first arrives at the castle, the long singing and dancing seems to be singing and dancing for visual effects. In the second half, the singing and dancing are barely okay, and the essence is at the Beast and Belle dances.

In addition to singing and dancing, the film is also lacking in length and editing. First of all, after the climax at the end of the film, it takes too long to explain the aftermath. The reunion ending can be shown from the typical supporting roles of the little characters. It has to be shown one by one, and the ending is lengthy. The visual effects of architectural restoration are not as good as the end of "Where are the Fantastic Beasts", and its use of morning light is not as good as "Frozen". Secondly, at the dance party where the two danced alone, a shot moved to the top light and pulled back. Is it highlighting something, or a simple long shot stitching, which feels a bit abrupt. Finally, the front and rear ratios of the film are a bit out of balance. The narrative of the first three lines is a bit chaotic, and the convergence of the two lines between the three lines is also far-fetched. For example, there are thunderstorms, Belle's father strayed into the castle, and the thunder and the tree set on fire were introduced into the story by external forces, which was unnatural, and the way to enter the castle seemed to be very vague, and it was also covered in the back. For another example, Gaston punched Belle's father without any emotional foreshadowing. He turned his face when he said he turned his face. The image of Gaston in the front of the film was not in place, and his fickle character should be vaguely highlighted in the front.

Last but not least, the actors. To improve Emma's acting skills, she first needs to break through the facial paralysis, and then practice her voice. Although Belle portrayed by Emma shows a firm character, she is lacking in the girl who is full of poetry and books emotionally. Gaston portrayed by Evans is quite full, although some of the images do not echo closely. McKellen and McGregor support the comedy portion of the play as voice actors.

Overall, for someone who doesn't remember the original Disney painting in 1991, the story of this movie is not bad, the costumes and visual effects are pretty good, but the song and dance editing performances are still lacking, it is not bad Commercial Film.

Can I still be saved if I am so fascinated by Gaston~~~ps: Because the people of the city of Philharmonic Black Watson can be lower? In addition, if there are not many adaptations, I will give bad reviews. You might as well go to see the 14-year French edition, I hope you like it =)

Reading enhances your appearance, reading changes your destiny, and reading is the ladder to the paradise of love-the spring of reading youth is here! The opening is longer to explain the personality of the members of the love triangle, which is slightly verbose, and obviously not enough for the following love scenes; the adaptation is nothing new, the singing and dancing scenes are as gorgeous as a kaleidoscope, the 3D night scenes are as dark as ghosts, but it is a pity that my cousin is so beautiful. Only a few minutes to show his face; a crowd of supporting characters praised.

Beauty and the Beast quotes

  • Gaston: [to Maurice, as he's thrown in a carriage] Have you seen the inside of a mad house, Maurice? You wouldn't last a week. Just give me your daughter and I'll set you free.

    Maurice: Never.

[Gaston looks mad, closes the carriage door]

    Gaston: Take him away!

  • Madame Garderobe: [faces off with Tom, Dick and Stanley] Come here, little boys!

[dresses them up in ladies' clothes]

    Madame Garderobe: Three pretty boys!

[Tom and Dick scream and run, but Stanley looks pleased]

Madame Garderobe: Be free, be free!
