Reese won an Oscar for Best Actress for this film, so it was marked as wanting to see it early on. After watching it a few days ago, I became addicted to Joaquin's appearance and voice. This is definitely an award-winning performance. It's just that I met Capote that year.

Joaquin is good-looking, but a gentleman is not old-fashioned. The cash he plays likes June and will pursue it strongly, even if he already has a wife and children. I find it kind of funny to use walk the line here.

People with different perspectives cannot get married, people with different interests cannot get married, and people with incompatible circles cannot get married. This is really the biggest impression on me from this movie. walk the line to find june, everyone wants someone who appreciates them and who can listen to their rhetoric. The person of cash is june, so where is the june of each of us?

I don't know, maybe just keep walking.

The ending feels too sudden, but looking at the time unknowingly, more than two hours have passed. Also, I think the male protagonist's acting tension is not enough, and there are always strange things that can't be explained. Of course, the eyes are first-class.

I only watched it when Witherspoon won the Oscar with this film, but I liked only the part of the country and the lakeside villa, and I didn't like the part of the city very much.

Walk the Line quotes

  • Record Company Executive: I'm fine with you doing a live album - just not at a prison. That's my compromise.

Johnny Cash: On January 13th, I'll be at Folsom prison, with June and the boys. You listen to the tapes. If you don't like them, you can toss them.

  • [Backstage, Johnny Cash and June Carter bump into each other and her dress gets caught on Johnny's guitar strap]

June Carter: That's my cue. Oh, no. Oh, that's stuck right on my dress.

    [hollers onstage]

June Carter: Hey, Bill! Hold on, Bill! I'm coming!

Billy: [onstage] I think... Oh, my, I think I hear June Carter's voice, ladies and gentlemen.

June Carter: [off-screen] I'll be right there, Bill! I'll be right there.

    Billy: [chuckles] Reckon when, June?

June Carter: Well, Bill, I got tangled!

    Billy: In what, June-bug?

June Carter: Johnny Cash's guitar strap!

    [to Johnny]

June Carter: Don't worry, I can keep this funny for two minutes.

    [to Billy]

June Carter: And I'll tell you what, Bill! He's a strapping boy, that Johnny Cash! And his guitar strap's real strapping too!

    [to Johnny]

    June Carter: Here.

[rips the dress from the guitar strap]

June Carter: I love that "Cry" song, by the way.

    Johnny Cash: [bemused] Hey, thanks.
