A bean friend in the short comment area wrote this view:

"The choir teacher - to give those gifted children a chance to go to Sweden, where they can show their wonderful life on a bigger stage; to give those untalented children a chance to participate, instead of being brutally eliminated directly. This is an important time. In the competition, the choir teacher did a good job. After the competition, the untalented children practiced hard to make up for their lack of talent, but at least they won this imminent competition first, right?"

For us from God's perspective, this is indeed the best solution. I am undecided about this.

The Hungarian film "Sing", which just won the Oscar for the best live-action short film, has a story structure that is not too complicated. Most audiences may see half of it and just wait to see how the children will choose in the end. In fact, such a thing is not uncommon in China, and even the annual event, the Spring Festival Gala, will require singers to lip-synch for the performance. We seem to have come to terms with this kind of thing.

Children only distinguish right from wrong, adults only see the pros and cons. In fact, we don't realize that a certain sense of struggle deep inside us is disappearing.

Therefore, I prefer to see the silent struggle of the children on stage at the end as a pristine awakening. Their choice followed the truest voice in their hearts.

Technically speaking, it's a no-brainer as a whole. The script uses a few scenes to show the friendship between girls and the love of the heroine and sister for music, which shows its skill. The long shot in the middle section under the allegro music shows the daily life of the children and the echoes of the elements such as small notes and chocolates can only be regarded as quite satisfactory. On the contrary, the retro scenery of Budapest and this group of children with very clean eyes make the temperament of the whole work very comfortable, and the look and feel are also very good. The heroine's tears when she told the truth to her best friend, and the determination in her eyes when her best friend angered the teacher, are especially touching. I can't help but feel that the children abroad are too good at acting.

Those kids know things, I hope we don't forget them too.
