Strictly speaking, "Creed" may not be regarded as a sequel to "Rocky", but another derivative work. The story will feature the son of the heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, who was defeated by Rocky, and the title of the film is derived from this. The young man from the upper class has an innate talent for boxing, but he was opposed by his family as he aspired to become a boxing champion. He finds Rocky (Stallone), who has quit boxing and has no intention of returning, as his coach. Stallone, who plays Rocky, is 70 years old this year. All are proving themselves, to prove themselves!
