invisible world

I don't quite understand the title of the film "The Invisible World", but I still have some opinions of my own. Under apartheid, gender inequality, and patriarchal society, darkness, inhumanity, trampling, and bullying exist everywhere. I think, this is a world where the invisible world cannot see the light. It is in such a dark world that the courage to dare Fighting and sticking to sincere love is precious.

Miriam started out as a little woman who succumbed to society, cowardly and submissive, married a man under the arranged marriage of her parents, and devoted all her energy to her children. She swallowed her husband's infidelity and selfish indifference. Miriam thought that her life would never have the opportunity to choose and turn around, until she met the woman in trousers, Amina.

Amina is an independent woman with her own mind. She hates the apartheid system and the bullying police very much. She has a strong sense of resistance. Co-owner of a restaurant that welcomes people of any color, she has love, and she often helps those in need.

Miriam said Amina was the first person to smile at her at the restaurant. Yes, she was so lonely, and she remembered clearly whoever smiled at her. The smile at the first meeting must have touched her heart, and she began to pay attention to this woman in trousers.

A job opportunity, Amina went to Miriam's house to renovate the vegetable garden.

"Has anyone taken good care of you?" I thought, that sentence must have pierced Miriam's heart. Yes, who has taken good care of this lonely woman. Seeing this, my heart also aches.

"I want to know about you" "Me? I'm just a housewife" "Isn't a housewife an individual? Shouldn't she have her own thoughts and emotions?" Miriam was a little flustered at this question.

Miriam lets Amina stay at her house for the night. Miriam asks Amina to tell Amina's grandmother's story. That's a sad story. But the story got Miriam thinking, and she started thinking about the injustices she faced in her family.

Amina gave Miriam a collection of poems. Yes, Miriam loves to read books, but who cares about Miriam's love of reading books? This collection of poems gradually awakened Miriam's hobby.

Miriam gave Amina another book, like a love token for lovers.

Amina taught Miriam to drive, and kissed Miriam tentatively, Miriam didn't refuse the kiss, intertwined her fingers briefly, and briefly forgot everything around her, but Miriam was a little trembling. I saw Miriam's husband coming to her, I was so afraid that her husband saw this scene in the car, I also followed Miriam a few times, my heart was in my throat, but her husband didn't see it. Miriam's husband was so rude to her, Amina was so distressed when she saw it in the car, but there was nothing she could do.

The story of Jacob and the woman in charge of the post office is a branch of the film. In this perverted system of apartheid, heterosexuality cannot survive, let alone homosexuality. Watching Jacob's tears and hobbling as he walks home, the woman in charge and I are full of heartbreak. But if they don't, the police will take Jacob to jail.

In Jacob's pursuit of love, Amina always encourages him. In Amina's own pursuit of love, she herself is doing her best, desperately trying to elope with Miriam without a good plan.

Miriam has also done daring things, such as turning on lights in the dark to take care of the black man who was hit by a car. Miriam actually has her own opinions and ideas, and she also hates those unfair things, but she doesn't have the courage of Amina, she dare not express it.

Miriam can never let go of her children, even if she can leave her husband, but because of the children, she may not leave her husband. Amina's grandmother was right that marriage was a tragedy.

"Don't you care about me?" "Of course I care about you. Whenever I see you I want you to stay forever."

"Close your eyes and you can trust me" "I'm not afraid of you" "Begin to imagine that there is nothing but you and me for a short while now"

A very slow kiss that makes the audience suffocate their muscles. Suddenly, the baby's cry was brought back to reality.

Amina smiled, as if she suddenly had the courage, and said hopefully, "Follow me!" However, our strength is weak, and it is no match for reality.

See Amina despairingly leave the last kiss in the film on Miriam's cheek. My heart is breaking.

But then Miriam's husband agreed to her to work in the restaurant, which was unexpected because she did not know what they were talking about before her husband agreed. Was it because Miriam, under Amina's influence, had the audacity to reject her husband's rudeness and the right to talk.

Amina and Miriam, they are in love, but reality is too powerful. They have been suppressing their desire for each other.

The ending is not clear, Miriam can come to work in the restaurant is not too bad, at least the two can meet and spend more time together. In the end, Amina was smiling. After all, it was a hopeful ending.
