I don't know if everyone had the same experience growing up with Gilmore Girls as I did when they continued to shoot.
In my vague memory, this is a drama that I played repeatedly during the four years of college. Later, when I was a graduate student in Germany, the German dubbing was repeatedly played on TV. So, when the freshman who lived in the dormitory and watched dramas has graduated as a master, Rory seems to be still at her Yale graduation ceremony. Perhaps, Rory's words "It's wide open" had already subtly influenced some of my own decisions. For example, instead of rushing to settle down, explore some areas of interest first.
The magic of Gilmore Girls is that no matter the age of the heroines, you can always see yourself at a certain stage in them. So when I saw the state of life of 32-year-old Rory, I didn't even suspect that it might be the same when I was 32. I think I know what I want, but I often don’t understand it. I have experienced many ups and downs in my career, screwed up some things, and even let go of a beautiful marriage.
The final setting in the play is the cycle of life.
But after so many years like the heroines, I wish I could go back to the beginning and Rory and Logan could be together.
The wide-open setting probably won't match the ultimate desire for a winner in life.
