Passengers totally is a love movie, with the help of the outerwear of space and universe science fiction, it actually tells a romantic story.
The whole story has little to do with space. The typical Hollywood logic of fierce love between male and female protagonists in the context of disasters can realize its film structure under any disaster environment.
