Let’s spit out the title of the film first. Are letters in Japanese written on toilet paper? Hahaha. The film is also based on real events, using the story behind a character to reflect the cruelty of the war and strung together the reflection on the war. Behind everyone is a family. Everyone's story is small but touching. Only at the end did I find out that the director was an American. I thought the Japanese were so black about themselves, but it turned out to be an American shot! It's no wonder that in the process of watching it, I always felt that I was beautifying the U.S. military and blackening the Japanese army. It turns out that I will deduct half a star. If the Japanese made it, it would be awesome.
