Captain Sully - it's a responsibility

A friend made an appointment to watch a movie and chose to watch this Captain Sally. Before watching it, I didn't know how the story was, thinking it was an air crash, and narrated the whole process of the air crash! I was stunned when the movie came out! Why is the crash already over? ! The film adopts an interlude method, not to emphasize the scene of the plane accident, but still can see the calm and professionalism of Captain Sally and his co-pilot! In the entire movie, there is only one Sally who ditched the plane on the Hudson River or not on this conflict! But the story is very smooth and complete, and the time control is just right, which is rare, and such a story is actually very difficult to tell well!

The whole film does not highlight the greatness of Sally, what a hero! After the plane landed on the river, he was the last to leave, and he breathed a sigh of relief after all 155 passengers were rescued. This is a manifestation of his sense of responsibility, but there is no excessive exaggeration! Many people think he is great and heroic, but he will be investigated by the safety agency as soon as he gets off the plane! Inspectors decided on the guilty wheel, so he went through a series of computer data drills, asking him if he made a mistake in stopping the engine and the plane could have flown back to a nearby airport. . . He did feel suspicious at the time, and his feeling on the plane was that it was broken! During the investigation and interview, he sometimes had hallucinations, nervousness, and even felt that his career was coming to an end! There is no heroic excitement, but anxiety. After a late night stop at a bar, I finally found the problem of the investigation, and I will no longer reveal what it is! During the last investigation, he was very confident and calm, and it was also a relief! From beginning to end, he works according to his professionalism and his responsibility! At the same time, it should be said that even the investigator is very responsible in the second film, although it is a bit disgusting to see his face in the interrogation of Sally!

This is an excellent documentary. Although it is a hero's story, it is not exaggerating the hero's greatness and loftiness. At most, his sense of responsibility is high! I think everyone who has seen the film can appreciate it, and whether they have a sense of responsibility when they work

Sully quotes

  • LT Cook: A pilot never stops acquiring knowledge. You'll make mistakes, everyone does. Just learn from them.

Sully (16 Years Old): Yes, sir.

LT Cook: And never forget, no matter what's happening, to fly the airplane.

  • Chesley 'Sully' Sullenberger: [New York late at night and both men can't sleep so they decide to go for a walk. It's cold outside and both are bundled up] It's all so unreal. I guess I'm just having a little trouble separating reality from whatever the hell this is.

Jeff Skiles: This is two men freezing their asses off.

    [They both laugh]

    Jeff Skiles: Sully

    [pause]

Jeff Skiles: don't worry. You did a great thing and it's going to be remembered for a very long time.

Chesley 'Sully' Sullenberger: Funny thing is, I've delivered a million passengers over 40 years in the air and in the end I'll be judged on 208 seconds.

Jeff Skiles: Come on. Tomorrow's going to be a good day. Computer SIMS will prove you were right and we can all put our wings back on.

Chesley 'Sully' Sullenberger: Do you want to run?

[Both men go jogging on down the street]
