Overall, I like this movie a lot. What I may like is not its plot, but such a feeling.
So first of all, I would like to discuss the plot of the movie from the perspective of "feeling".
The beginning of the movie is chic. A conversation started by a terrified girl running to her parents' bedroom one night of thunder and lightning. Father's sentence "You are our ears" allows the audience to slowly understand the setting of the movie. Contrary to the routine of the traditional movie "Parents protect hearing-impaired children or depressed children", it reverses the roles and turns the child into the guardian angel of the parents. Skipping classes to accompany her parents to the bank to Lala becoming a medium for her parents to connect with the world... Everything speaks to Lala's important role in the life of her deaf parents. And Lara's own character characteristics are gradually clear in these narratives: she is stubborn and stubborn, and has her own ideas. Even though her parents knew that the sign language she had translated was not what she meant, there was nothing they could do.
The screen jumps to Christmas. At a family dinner, the contradictions are very obvious. And the story seems to have officially started from here. Lara is not a bird that can only be locked in a cage. And the name of this cage is called "Silence". Although this place is her home, there is a gentle and dignified mother and a grumpy and earthy father, and a young sister who is coming. She loves this home. But that doesn't contradict her distaste for the sound of her father's teeth brushing. She can understand her father, but she can't tolerate her adapting to this kind of life, and she can't tolerate her father's thought, "It would be great if she was also deaf." Her final choice is to stick to her own choice and pursue what she loves and belongs to her. Piece of heaven and earth.
So the whole film developed to my favorite part. It was the part where she had just moved to the big city of Berlin, where she was happy with her aunt. They eat, drink and play, go swimming in the river without swimsuits, and play freely with the clarinet, and they run and laugh in the streets. All is well. Lara might belong here. In her bones, she has few concerns and thoughts from the countryside, and more is uninhibited. Just like her acquaintance with that man, she was more cheerful than shadow, dancing in the night, casually hooking her shoulders, the lingering lingering in the living room... just as she was, just because she was Lala.
She is willful Lara, she never has too many too many concerns.
Suddenly I thought of the many little details in the movie. Lala was willing to describe to her father the sound of falling snow, but she was too tired to describe the brisk birdsong.
Lara's mother was riding her bicycle downhill when a truck suddenly drove up behind her, but she could only remain indifferent.
Everything shows the inevitability of the film.
In the end, the reconciliation between the father and the aunt, and the reconciliation between the father and Lala is inevitable. After all, blood relatives. Those gaps are insurmountable, and really powerless. Many times the attitude of my father makes people feel disgusted and hated, but his innate conditions determine this kind of sadness.
