A psychological horror in a science fiction package

10 Clover Road is not a sequel to the orthodox Clover Archives. This is a psychological horror film in a science fiction package. The layer-by-layer advancement of the film shows the crazy psychology of a pervert: in order to compensate for the loss of her daughter's custody, she builds bunkers, imprisons girls, and kills people continuously.
The heroine showed superhuman calmness and resilience throughout the story. At the beginning, she showed extraordinary courage when she sharpened a cane in the cell. The middle part of the film uses the heroine to tell the story of the future. The second man is for protection. She was beaten to death by a man, just like the story of her brother protecting her sister in her own story.
And the perverted man could have relied on alien invasion to whiten himself, but unfortunately, people always have to pay for what they did. His evil deeds were finally discovered, and in the end he was completely exposed to the death of the second man.
The plot design of the story is very ingenious, with many foreshadowings. The psychological horror plot that leads from science fiction to the claustrophobic chamber returns to science fiction without a trace. After the heroine defeated the perverted man and escaped, she began to fight the aliens again and succeeded in winning again. At the end of the film, she chooses to go to Houston to save people, and she will surely fall into a new round of fighting again. This is an outstanding female image who is constantly fighting for her life. Only those with this kind of soldier quality can get out of such a secret room. Get away.

  • Howard: I have a collection of films on DVD and VHS cassette... make sure you put 'em back when you're done with 'em. We're gonna be down here for a very long time.

  • Howard: He knocked over a shelf with a whole week's worth of food!... But he's sorry, aren't you?

    Emmett: [nonchalant] ... Totally.

Howard: [Realizing that Michelle has noticed Emmet's injuries] That's what happens when you don't behave. Now I'm gonna tell you the same thing that I told him - you need to eat, you need to sleep and you need to start showing me a little more appreciation around here!
