When I started watching, I struggled to figure out if there was any sexual harassment. In fact, you can understand half of it, because the atmosphere deliberately created by the director has exposed his judgment. The heroine is weak and persistent, and the justice will only frown in silence at home. The answer is given at the end of the film, and after the case, legislation began to clearly define the scope of sexual harassment.
This is also a foundation of Western values. The advancement and reform of any society relies on the unyielding cry of tiny individuals, thus affecting the public and even the policy maker. So, you have grievances to speak up to help or prevent more similar grievances from happening again.
