The sequel to the new era is difficult to continue

Laughing and fear, this is the first feeling after watching this film.
Perhaps given that as a Chinese audience, the old movie "Ghostbusters" failed to imprint any feelings on me, and only held an objective attitude, that is, there is more than enough money and not enough comedy.

Counting the classic comedies of Master Chaplin, it is not difficult to find that the real comedy should be "tearful laugh". Although such a height is difficult to reach, it would still be a pity if a "sequel" that once entered the United States' "National Treasure Movie" was reduced to this point.
As a popcorn movie, "Superpower" is indeed better than many films of the same period, and although the all-female cast is controversial, there is nothing wrong with it in my opinion. The point is, this director claims to be not limited to the sequel, but in fact has not jumped out of the vicious circle of the sequel.

Given that the director himself is a fanboy, he has continued the science in the original work on the supernatural, red and white modified cars, ghost signs, etc. These are indeed only extended feelings and not old-fashioned. However, this kind of abruptly forming a women's four-member group and adding a "silly white sweet Thor" move is really beyond words.
The portrayal of the characters in this movie itself is a tricky move, and adding a fourth black train conductor and a silly white sweet operator is a bit of a fight for politics and money.
For the fourth player, it is not that we do not understand the national conditions of the United States. The issue of race has always been very sensitive, and it is understandable to add black people. However, the original trio have their own division of labor, coordinate with each other, and have different personalities. They can be regarded as a good team; on the other hand, in this film, the fourth person is almost useless except for being stupid, and Pistachio also has an imposed Thor. One would be a nuisance. And the reason for joining the team is simple and rude, illogical, and even more speechless.
Second, for the silly white sweet Thor, I can only say that being brainless is not cute, but brainless. Although there is a beautiful woman in the original work who was possessed and became the villain boss, it does not mean that you have to get a "male sex" to show the familiarity. It's hard to say, apart from the muscles and face, what other significance does this role have, after all, I feel that the burden of this film is still on the first three people in the group.

There are still bright spots in the whole film. The horror atmosphere is well portrayed, but it has a creepy feeling; it is full of jokes, and the burden is also shaking well; and the best character I think is portrayed is Kate McGinn. Jillian Hausman played by Nong.
This character is so cool and unrestrained, but he is usually taciturn. At the celebration ceremony of the final film, Hausman stammered out the longest paragraph in the film, which is to thank her friends for their friendship and tolerance. In this way, a more vivid, more logical character emerges on the page, which also has a more charming charm.
Jillian Hausman

In a word, the sequel to the old version is difficult to reproduce the glory.

  • Abby Yates: [Holtzmann is dancing to 'Rhythm of the Night'] I don't mean to DeBarge in!

Jillian Holtzmann: Is that by DeBarge? I thought it was Devo.

  • Patty Tolan: That's where I saw that weird sparking thing.

    Jillian Holtzmann: What was it?

Patty Tolan: Baby, if I knew what it was, I wouldn't have called it a 'weird sparking thing'.
