Gossip about this movie

Nolan's Batman Begins is a reference to the original Year One book. Yaer One came out and influenced later Batman comics, Frank Miller reinvented Batman, and Batman owes much of his dark style to Miller.
The film consists of two perspectives, one is from Sheriff Jim Gordon, and the other is naturally the story line of Batman Bruce Wayne.
When Batman just debuted, he would also make mistakes and become embarrassed. When
Gordon first came to Gotham, he was helpless, and
the story lines of the two intersected like this.
Going back to this film, a lot of "adult-oriented" content just makes Gotham more real. Gotham is a downright sin city, sin is like scarlet, Batman can't make Gotham white, because the city is rooted in Began to rot, filled with sinful genes. But Batman will always be a symbol of justice in Sin City.
A detail worth recalling, before Bruce became Batman, he fought injustice on the street, and finally got injured, driving a crooked car, and the people in the car next to him mistakenly thought that he had taken medicine.
Back home, dying, he saw the bat.
The bat has a strong symbolic meaning. Patrol in the dark, with agile movements. This is the symbol that Bruce prayed to the statue of his father,
"Yes, father" and
he decided to become a bat and fight in the dark. Be a dark light.
Bruce has a lot of disguises in private, playboy, corporate tycoon. He has to deal with those high society people on weekdays, and there is no idea how many dark accumulations behind these sanctimonious people. He chose to be Batman. He took off the mask of Bruce Wayne. He was Batman. He pretended to be Bruce Wayne. Only under the identity of the dark knight, he is his real self.
Gordon's story line is very complicated, there are fights within the police station, and there are family entanglements. Under this contradiction, his mental process is constantly changing, and his attitude towards Batman is gradually changing.
He saw Batman helping passers-by, and he would keep money to buy a suit. The Batman in his eyes has become the image of a gentleman.
Batman, who was alone at the beginning, gradually accepted Gordon as a partner. (He also accepted the help of Harvin Dent, who did not become a double-faced person.)
At the end, Bruce saved Gordon's newborn child without wearing a disguise, and Gordon also smiled, claiming that he did not wear glasses and could not see. Clear him, the tacit understanding of a generation of partners begins.
In the end, the Joker finally arrives, and although he doesn't show his face, we know the story is going to continue.

Dark Gotham is the most authentic Gotham! Still that sentence DC animation is stronger than DCEU movies by more than a few streets! The original comic, written by Frank Miller and drawn by David Mazukelly, is a classic of Batman comics and a bible followed by other comics. Nolan's "Batman Begins" movie also borrowed many of them. This animated version is a reproduction of the original manga.

Batman: Year One quotes

  • [first lines]

Bruce Wayne: Gotham City. Clean shafts of concrete and snowy rooftops. The work of men who died generations ago. From here, it looks like an achievement. From here, you can't see the enemy.

  • Bruce Wayne: I've tried to be patient. I've tried to wait. But I have to know. How, Father? How do I do it? What do I use to make them afraid? If I ring the bell, Alfred will come. Another of your gifts, Father. But I'd rather die than wait another hour. I've already waited 18 years. Eighteen years since all sense left my life.

[a bat crashes through his window, lands on his father's sculpture]

    Bruce Wayne: Yes, Father.
