Silent world, do we understand?

When I was watching the movie, I thought, walking out of the silence may mean Lara walking out of the silent home, but maybe it also means opening up people's hearts. Because the subtitles are in English, there may be some omissions, but I probably still understand. This movie, this whole process, is just life. While watching, I also wondered, is it better for the blind to be deaf? Although you can't see the color of everything, there is a wonderful sound. No, the color of everything, the shape of everything is also very important, isn't it heartbreaking for people who have never seen the world? I was thinking, why did God give them such a disability when he created them? Maybe each has its own homework, and as healthy people, we can only experience a little of their world. Because of this experience, you must cherish your own world.

Beyond Silence quotes

  • Lara: The saddest things in life are separations and deaths. I don't want to say good-bye anymore. I've had enough of that.

  • Martin: How does snow sound? What does it say to you?

Lara: It says, "Crunch, crunch, brr, brr."

Martin: What are "crunch" and "brr"? What kind of words are they?

Lara: To tell the truth, snow doesn't say much. It's even said that snow swallows every sound. When snow is on the ground, everything is much quieter.

Martin: Honest? Snow makes the world quiet? That's beautiful.
