really almost fell asleep

Presumably exhausted by this bout of work, and the intensified headaches from the afternoon swimming, I almost wanted to quit the movie halfway through.
A friend previously warned that this is the only sci-fi movie you can watch while sleeping. After watching it, I realized that what I said was true, because about 2/3 of the whole film was spent in dark scenes. In the evening, it is recommended to drink a cup of coffee in advance to refresh yourself.
The crew is probably still too short of money, and all the scenes that need to be realistically constructed are rough, and then they deliberately create a situation that "is so messy in the first place". In one scene, the doctor and Spock Mountain were bumped into by two enemies, who just opened their eyes and thought it was the Journey to the West crew. . . , the shape of the two little ghosts is really not as good as the Journey to the West crew.
The art of the base is still commendable. After all, a future city with such a complex structure that combines various urban elements has its own novelty, and this may be the only highlight of the whole film.
The bee colony is also remarkable. I have always felt that the most devastating thing is either plants or animals that win by numbers.
As a star fan and layman, but for those who have watched most of the sci-fi blockbusters in recent years, the shape of the alien characters really needs to be changed. Isn't there a little bit of new design? If not, please go to the crew of Journey to the West for further study.
In addition, the music band attack at the end always feels too simple and naive. I always think that star fans should be able to play a little more high-end, so don't be afraid that others won't understand it. Can the communication band be so easily attacked? And the frequency band of music that humans can hear should be the same as the frequency band of human speech. If this frequency band can be attacked, then two sentences can also be said. Really can't stand scrutiny. After reading it, it seems that the kindergarten children answered 1+2=3, and the teacher must praise and say: Well, that's great!
What can't stand up to scrutiny is that someone from the Star Fleet has been singled out. How did he get such a huge army? I owe us an explanation. . .
Just Karma.

Star Trek Beyond quotes

  • Spock: Captain, the flight patterns of bees are determined by individual decisions. Krall's swarm formations are too complex not to rely on some form of unified cyberpathic coordination. I surmise that if we...

Captain James T. Kirk: [interrupts] Spock! Skip to the end.

Lieutenant Uhura: What he's saying is that if we disorient the swarm, we can kick its ass!

    Spock: Precisely.

  • Captain James T. Kirk: Vice Admirals don't fly, do they?

    Commodore Paris: No. They don't.

Captain James T. Kirk: Well, no offense, ma'am, but... where's the fun in that?
