Survival confrontation

I don’t know much about the Vietnam War. What other World War I and World War II... Liberation and Anti-Japanese War..., even if separated by the Pacific Ocean for hundreds of years-the strong smell of gunpowder smoke and things that are too close to death make me kind of Instinctive resistance.
Fortunately, now I am willing to slowly touch, feel, and realize.
For example, "The Hurt Locker", such as "Field Platoon".

The madness and chaos of war are suffocatingly real.
The green of the jungle makes the eyes very comfortable, while the law of the jungle and the crossfire of human nature in war make the soul riddled with holes.

The flames of war have long lost the light of human nature, and it will only fuel the ugliness of human nature.
The confrontation of survival, the source of all evil.

Platoon quotes

  • [Chris has just gotten to Vietnam. Some passing veterans shout at him]

Soldier 1: New meat! You dudes gonna love the Nam.

    Soldier 2: For fucking ever.

  • Sgt. Barnes: Y'all take a good look at this lump of shit. Remember what it looks like. You fuck up in a firefight and I goddamn guarantee you a trip out of the bush in a body bag! Out here, assholes, you keep your shit wired tight at all times!

    [to Taylor]

Sgt. Barnes: And that goes for you, shit-for-brains. You don't sleep on no fucking ambush!

    [to Junior]

Sgt. Barnes: And the next son of a bitch I catch copping "Z"s in the bush, I'm personally gonna take an interest in seeing him suffer. I shit you not. Doc, tag him and bag him.
