It has been at least ten years since I first read this book, and when I watch the film again, I have a completely different feeling. There are so many episodes in it that make me emotional.
Heidi's parents died. The aunt who raised her originally left her to her grandfather in order to go out to work. Later, in order to get paid, she tricked Heidi into going to the city to study with Clara with a lie. Children are so weak that their destiny can only be controlled by adults.
The rich lady Clara has no shortage of food and clothing, but her father is away all year round, and only the housekeeper and servants surround her every day. Heidi's arrival made her feel the warmth of friendship. She was afraid of losing Heidi, so she knew that Heidi was homesick and did not want to let her leave.
When Heidi came to Usman's house, the first thing that came to her mind when she saw the bread was the grandma who couldn't refuse her teeth on the mountain, so she secretly saved a piece of bread every day to take back to her. When I was homesick, I cried silently while holding the woodcarving that my grandfather gave me, and when I finally left, I gave the woodcarving to Clara.
The thing that struck me the most was when Heidi said in class that she wanted to write a story in the future, and was laughed at by the whole class. The people in this small town on the Alps are kind and simple, but they are also short-sighted and ignorant. They cannot accept foreign things, nor can they accept ideas and lifestyles that are beyond the scope of their cognition. Is this their fault? Born in this world, like a dandelion falling with the wind, what kind of land it falls on, what kind of situation it has, what kind of person it will grow into, what kind of thoughts it has, these are often nothing else. Selected.
A person's innocence, pure kindness, bravery, and belief can infect others and change their fate. This is probably what the author wants to say the most. I hope and believe so too.
The plot aside, the film is very faithful to the original, the fantastic scenery is exactly what I imagined when I read it as a child, the two young actors are beautiful like angels, and what is more valuable is that there is no trace of performance. The overall impression is that it is very fresh and natural, and I feel very comfortable after watching it, and it is a good movie that can leave an aftertaste. Will definitely revisit from time to time, highly recommended.
